Well i used to hang in a community group hangout thing but i barely talked there so i saw myself out.

Is that so, well if you're used to wi-fi we should PM sometime maybe, if you wish.

I'm not used to Wi-Fi and I don't really plan to ever use it. What's the non-emulator Wi-Fi on PM looking like these days anyway?

I dunno, but here's my prediction if there's another Smash Direct. (Which is probably a pipe dream, I know)

Well alright, i guess if i'm ever in Alabama i guess i'll have to verse you then.

Its pretty much the same as nintendo's old server, just a couple of hitches here and there. But its pretty good if you want to get some practice in and you cant travel atm.

Eh, people just go check veterans and see if they had changes. I don't even think I'm going to main a newcomer.

Then I started playing Ness in PM and holy crap I just discovered I'm unreal as him.

Tomorrow (August 12th) is my birthday, and I was planning on introducing myself to the forums on the greetings page for my birthday. It is there that I shall reveal myself, I would ask that ladies have a towel handy and that the men tighten their belts.

But... there is a surprise, a twist if you will (I am M. Night Shymalan). I have not been completely and utterly honest about something. All will be revealed in due time. I would ask that you give me free likes on my birthday post as well, I jest (but seriously though).

Anyone else kind of hoping for Amiibo of alternate costumes. This is mostly just wishful thinking in case someone like Dark Meta Knight(a character I really want as an alt.) gets in as an alt. Also Dark Pit in case he's just an alt.

Because most speculators won't be here when CompetitiveBoards begins to surface. It's sad, but that's what will happen.
They can always come to SmashBoards, though. I know what would be the best match. Speculator Mii Fighter vs. Competitive Mii Fighter.

Well...yes, but the game is coming out soon in Japan, so we'll see the full roster in there.

Ness in PM isn't that much fun from his Brawl conversion, even with all the buffs to his moveset. Brawl had a bigger offstage game where Ness shined and due to the hitstun and falling speed changes in PM he's not as fun offstage. Some of his other changes I especially dislike are his bair hitbox size reduction and over-reliance on PK Fire. It's not that he needs it to win, but it's such a bad thing for the enemy to get caught in there's no reason to not use it a buttload.

I'll agree with you here. There's a ton of emphasis on this move, and stuff like PSI Plasma is getting sadly ignored.

That's still a big maybe, but it is very sad indeed. I've seen him in Aladdin, Night at the Museum, Flubber, Ms Doubtfire, Polar Express. He was one of my most favorite actors of all time.

I disagree completely, I have hated Ness as a character in every Smash... aside from Project M where he is one of my mains. I can only have fun with him in Project M to be honest. Perhaps it is because of the buffs.

Ness is a weird character in my eyes. I enjoy using him in Brawl and PM, but I would never really consider using him seriously if only because of his recovery. I'll play him just for fun, but nothing more. I enjoy playing Lucas more competitively in PM because of his magnet+tether recovery.

In fact, as it can be said, the thing with Gematsu is that it's not really killable; the fact that it's essentially an early planning document makes it legitimate, as we do know that Chrom was indeed scrapped during development.

The amount of work that a Lucas main has to put into him to combo is absolutely ******** in all politically incorrect sense of the word. I watched Fak play Lucas on the Mobile stream and he was all over the place with his tech chases and follows ups and then all the Falcon player had to do was forward tilt him into a knee.
