Now that I think about it, Team Battles could be interesting in Smash 4. I guess.

Hmm, I'm really bored. I don't expect a character reveal tomorrow, but if it comes out, then it'd be cool.

I'm bored of seeing speculation threads, but I won't be bored about competitive threads. Does that sound good?

Speculation is pretty garbage.

Like, I question how people aren't bored out of their mind from the constant repetition.

My problem with speculation threads is the grasping at straws that is taken to the extreme.

Also, the fact that people can't see that their favourite character may not =/= good for Smash.

Indeed, I'm bored of that. Some fan-favorite characters might not make it on the game, and if that happens, then they wouldn't buy the game and quit SmashBoards. Meh.

And they'll miss out. Too bad for them.

Like I said earlier, that's going to weed out the folks who don't actually play Super Smash Bros.

That's why I think competitive threads are "better". You get to improve your character, ask questions and get an answer, find new techniques and use the other threads as a resource.
Okay, so a popular character doesn't appear. They complain about it and say that Sakurai makes bad roster decisions.

The funny thing is that I find these batch of newcomers more entertaining then the ones from Brawl.

Then again, a large chunk of those newcomers were badly designed. Which is why I'm not surprised they're getting notable adjustments this time around.

Lol. Yeah, they were badly designed. I'll probably try them out, but I want to see how the veteran characters have changed from Brawl.

I have a question for people here.
Are there any characters that you like as a character, but don't like their playstyle in Smash?

For me, it would be Fox and Falco. I love the StarFox series, but I don't want to destroy my hands to play them, thanks.

Ganondorf... for Falcon-related reasons.

Toon Link. I wish he had Wind Waker items for attacks. Such wasted potential.

That's a supposed Falco ''leak''? Hmm, I see.. kinda fake since he doesn't have some headgear, like the one he had in Brawl, but things could change right? lol

In terms of veterans from experience, Bowser and Pit play better. The former having better attacks with better speed and utility (PLUS DROPKICKS!), and the latter having his general normal attacks adjusted to have more weight and power while making the character less prone to camping.

Diddy Kong. Samus. eventually Palutena.

I hate camping. Falco is so in your face. I love that kind of aggression in a play style. Camping just doesn't suit me. Also my Brawl Zelda is known to be aggressive. My Diddy Kong was really bad for a while. I hate item characters. My Diddy used to be so impatient. I almost never used bananas. I only used one when I needed it. If I used 2 then I had no clue what to do with them. Now I use Diddy Kong pretty wisely. I'm not too sure about my Samus though hahahaha. I'll camp when I absolutely need to with Samus. but I normally just go for grabs and get combos off of it. I'll missile cancel and then run in for a dash attack too. I just don't like staying away.

The "leak" showed up on Hatena. It's fake-tastic though... my favorite thing about it is that despite the characters directly beneath and above him and beside him suffering from light glare, he somehow doesn't. Probably didn't want to be part of Mufasa's kingdom what with the light touching him and all.

Roy does indeed have a chaingrab on certain characters. I was testing earlier at what percents it works. Forward throw and down throw can chain at low percents, up throw can chain fast fallers at low percents. I do b reversals a lot offline, but I have issues trying to do them online. And my edgeguards probably are better offline, but I'm not really a fair judge. Thanks for the advice though. I have about a week until I'll be going to my first tournament, so I'm gonna need all the training I can get.
Dthrow doesn't have a regrab to my knowledge. He can Fsmash from it if the character isn't a FFer, on a FFer it becomes a tech chase.

He can regrab almost every character once in P:M from Fthrow. Depending on DI he can continue to regrab with Fthrow on certain characters, like Sonic. Bt once they learn how to DI correctly he can't.

He can CG Fox, Wolf, and Falco from Uthrow, I forget to what precent however and I can't remember if he can do it on other FFers.

If you are trying to imrpove your Roy focus on his mobility just go into an empty stage and run around it getting a feel for his mobility and what he can do. He has a really good Dash Dance and his Wavedash is top-notch as well. You want to be crouching a lot as well, he has a really great crouch cancel with an awesome Dtilt. Learn his bread and butter combos, like SHFFL Fair > Dtilt > Fsmash and SHFFL Fair > Jab > Ftilt and Dtilt > to almost any aerial and Dair > any aerial and Uair > Fsmash (At high precents). And definitely don't be afraid to abuse Fsmash, smartly of course, as it is a really good move. Thankfully Roy doesn't have any special ATs to him and allows you to learn the basics better.
