I don't think they'll ever leave Red's house.

Apparently TPP is still going on. They're currently playing Stadium 2.
They're playing Stadium 2? Next thing they do is play Pokémon Colosseum / XD.

I'm seriously considering picking up Nolimar.

Twitch should play Hey You Pikachu.
inb4 Twitch Plays Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Everyone says "OH, THE FEELS" "I'M GONNA CRY SO HARD" because of the game's ending. Apparently, Mystery Dungeon games are that emotional.

Have they played a Mystery Dungeon game yet? I would really like to see that now that you mention it.

Mystery Dungeon, strangely enough, has some of the best endings I have ever seen in a video game. I ain't gonna lie... I cried like a baby. Seriously it just draws you in and the story is so beautiful and intense. They are all great games! Never plays gates to infinity though... But the others 10/10!

Warning: If you do play them there is a 80% chance you will cry/get them feels.

Ah, well, I'm really bad at Pokémon, so yeah. inb4 music is muted now.
I just found out they were still playing. I thought they quit after Pokémon X.

That would be really great if they did that. Maybe a reason to follow it again. As you may know, I absolutely enjoyed both games.

I'll admit, the story had it's moments, but I wouldn't call it too moving. Even with the ending. Sure, it got me the first time, but once I stepped back a little I found it to be more dopey than anything.

Hey You Pikachu = Mic = Say ''PlayStation'' = Pikachu gets angry of sorts.

@ RamOne RamOne I see. I don't watch TPP, so yeah.

In Project M? As an Olimar secondary, take it from my experience. Don't. I'll go into more detail in a chat with you if you want, but seriously, don't.
Nolimar =/= Olimar. Nolimar is Olimar without Pikmin.

Hey You Pikachu = Mic = Say ''PlayStation'' = Pikachu gets angry of sorts.
Saying "Sony" will have the same result.

...I'd be interested to see how that turns out, to be honest. Try picking up SoPo, too. :p
Nolimar is slightly more playable in PM than he is in Brawl at least. Forward tilt can kill at very high percents in PM.

Unrelated, but I honestly wonder if Giga Bowser is tournament legal. What would happen if someone picked Giga in a tournament?

Speaking of explorers of sky, how much better is it then explorers of time? I didn't bother to buy sky because I already had time. >.>

They haven't. They just played all the main series Pokémon games. Mystery Dungeon would be cool, but everyone would react with feelings.

I have seen the ending of the game....well, on a video on YouTube, that is. Didn't affect me at all. The player returns to the Pokémon world after they complete the game, lol. Then the partner seems happy and then they have the ability to evolve.
Gates to Infinity is "meh", they just needed to improve the gameplay and the story. The game was easy overall and the story felt...eh.
They have to introduce new stuff while making the gameplay a bit challenging. I know some of this want to happen if there's a new Mystery Dungeon game based on Pokémon X/Y. If they want Mystery Dungeon to be a good spin-off, this needs to happen.
Unfortunately, Mystery Dungeon games haven't been well received by critics, but who cares about reviews.

Yeah, that would be good. They need to do something else that isn't main series Pokémon games. Did they ever do Pokémon Stadium? (The original one, not Stadium 2).

@ CatRaccoonBL CatRaccoonBL : The game is the same. You just have a better choice of starters to pick. There are a few more dungeons.

@ Cap'nChreest Cap'nChreest I have to eat dinner. Sorry!
That's ok. I was finishing anyways. I played for longer than I wanted lol.

Giga Bowser is low tier :troll: losing to Olimar and Sheik/Zelda :troll: (I guess we unintentionally recreated the Smash 3ds tourney finals. Except Sheik won)

Try not leaving yourself open so much. You do a lot of laggy moves up close with Roy. Try shield grabbing more. Don't get caught crouch canceling all the time. I can rack up a lot of damage if you do it carelessly. (try playing as Falco against Peach :() Everytime I taunted with Squirtle I just wanted to put on his sunglasses lol. Sorry if it got annoying. I could get it in the practice room easily. Button delay!!!!

I don't know too much about Roy honestly. You had some good combos though. Make sure they're safe when you do them. Idk if Roy has chaingrabs against certain characters. Use them if he does. Not every follow up is guaranteed. It's easy to nair out of combos as floaty characters like:luigi2::samus2:. Try to just reset into neutral. If the opponent is really nair spammy you can even wait for them to nair and then punish with a grab or some other combo. Just make sure that the things you are doing won't get punished and if they will be a little patient and space correctly. Try not to counter so much. I got you a couple of times. Counters are pretty useless imo. Though you can use them sometimes. You could even punish someone who likes to nair to escape combos with them. Don't always feel like you need to come down on top of someone with an attack. Sometimes its better to just reset everything. If come on top of someone with a d-air or something its easy to punish. Don't always land and then shield immediately after. I can just grab you. I remember I got a kinda big streak once. Just try to mix it up.

Also edge guards. Your edge guards are probably a lot better offline. I know mine are. I try not to do much edge guarding online. At least try and grab the ledge and ledge hop for invincibility. Then if they're close just roll from the ledge. It provides a very safe edge guard. Even if you grab the ledge to ledge hop b-air if you can time it correctly.

Try running up to your opponent then just shield and see what they do. Then react. They could shield too. Then you know that if you run up to them most of the time its a free grab. (mind games)

Oh yeah, dash dancing is important up close. Its pretty much just a better way of spot dodging. It may seem risky at first but basically you can make me over commit a move. I'll miss it and there's no lag for you. So you can just follow up with a grab/anything. Try doing running smash attacks. Basically while you run you can :GCR:run >:GCD::GCCR: and you'll do a smash attack. You can do it in any direction. Pretty good for tech chasing. Especially on a character with a little range like Roy. B reversals are nice for mind games. Basically in the air if you're going this way >>>> just press:GCB: and mash :GCL: as fast as you can. Basically changing your momentum. I kinda spammed this with Roy. I did it a little with Squirtle too. Its more for a character like :zerosuitsamus: though.

Ivysuars up B is really good. You can combo down grab to up b depending on the DI. That and Solar Beam. Its pretty silly honestly.

Fun matches though. Also very long post. You got better since last time. imo

Also my Diddy in P:M is a scrub and I hate him. He feels too different and I suck with him.

Technically, unless he's specifically banned, he's legal. Jiggly and Zelda wreck his face, though.

I don't know and I honestly don't really care, though. I followed the 'first season' but quit when democracy kicked in and making it a slow Let's Play.

When I was practicing with Fox last night, I used Landmaster in New Pork City and thought I saw the Ultimate Chimera get destroyed by the Landmaster. Is that a thing?

Giga didn't lose to Olimar; he lost to Nolimar. Even worse :troll:

Roy does indeed have a chaingrab on certain characters. I was testing earlier at what percents it works. Forward throw and down throw can chain at low percents, up throw can chain fast fallers at low percents. I do b reversals a lot offline, but I have issues trying to do them online. And my edgeguards probably are better offline, but I'm not really a fair judge. Thanks for the advice though. I have about a week until I'll be going to my first tournament, so I'm gonna need all the training I can get.

New PORK City. Ultimate Chimera can be KO'd if you destroy the bridge when it's standing on it, but other than that, the Ultimate Chimera is unkillable.

It wasn't moving at all, honestly. Mystery Dungeon games tend to have those emotional endings, but eh. It's not a big deal.

Lol. I don't know why does it feel like a slow let's play. It should be a speed run if they're using randomized Pokémon.

I didn't play Time, but personally I liked the changes.
Especially that of the Juice Bar and Recycle Center. Those I felt really benefited the game.

Awww.... I want to go to a tourney.... I've only been to like 3 in my whole life lol. I've always been too young so I'd have to go with my bro and his friend whenever they felt like taking me. I guess since I'm 19 I can just go on my own now. If only they had some around central VA...

I found out that there's apparently weekly Melee/PM tournaments every Thursday about 20 minutes from my house. Next Thursday is conveniently the day before my birthday, so my mom is willing to take me. I'll probably have to sacrifice binge watching Madoka though
