One thing that I'll never have answered; what is the correct romanization of Kyouko's name?

Is it "Kyouko" "Kyoko" or "Kyōko"? Ever since I watched Madoka subbed, I spelled it "Kyouko," but I have no idea which is official/correct.

The dash above the "o" is the indicate the elongated sound which is where is stipulation of "Kyouko" also comes from.

In other words, they're ALL right.

I believe it might have something to do with the fact that really, there's a ton to use with Sonic. There's a billion species to pick from.
And to be fair, there are Mario OCs. They're just not as common (or, prevalent).

Well first off, "OC" only applies when it's an actual original character not affiliated with an already establish story and universe of somebody else's unless you're one of the story writers yourself, are a collaborator, or simply win a contest or something to get said character in that universe and become official. Thus, it would be "Mario Fan Characters" or "FC's" rather than "OC's".

Second, there are TONS of them. They just don't get the same publicity as Sonic ones since no one ever wants to hate on Mario. ¦D
