Yep. The first two-thirds of the movie had some really interesting stuff, but the ending was a textbook case of solving an extremely complicated issue in a very simple and trite way. (The villain's motivations didn't make much sense either.)

In mostly unrelated news, I saw the Pixels trailer in the theater and it looks freaking terrible.

As soon as I heard the premise of Inside Out...like, two years ago? I was like, "yeah, this one's going to be great."
And judging from what I've heard, I was right! I always am.
