I used to. It got old for me.
I can see that. It takes a certain mood to really enjoy it. The same goes for any sandbox game IMO.

Minecraft? Never played it. Lack the creativity to build and don't think my laptop can handle it anyway. My older brother does play it, however.

I don't play Minecraft because I'm not awfully great at building things. Plus I'm kind of tired of the game already what with it being everywhere and all.

I play it on my phone and PS3, so you don't necessarily need a gaming computer to play. Granted, those versions have way less stuff, but. . .oh well.

And Survival mode is still a thing if you aren't Block Picasso.

Minecraft is great but I get bored of it pretty easly. I still try to get back to it from time to time as they add more stuff but it just doesnt hold my attention for long, I dunno, I need to be in this state of mind where I want to chill out to boot it up.

Pretty much the same here.

When I am in the mood it's a pretty impressive game, though.

I liked it back in beta and shortly after but then I sort of lost interest, I did enjoy making my texturepack for it though

Have PS3 Minecraft, with a survival world I've had since release. I kinda just like it for the Hardcore Survival, basically.

That and the music. Music is quite nice on that game.

I'm not a fan of Minecraft.

Considering the way the gameplay is, it's clearly not for everyone. That and a lot of people complain about the graphics. I'm like it alright, though.

I remember when the PS3 had one non-cd song that just looped over and over. Now that's changed. Phone version doesn't have any music, though. :(

The music is kinda half the game for me. I think if I didn't like the soundtrack I wouldn't play it all that much.

I was a big fan of Minecraft before, but I kinda became disgusted by it after a while. I even was a mod' on a server back then, and met some nice people. But, I'm not into it anymore, just like my friends. Maybe because I got bored of it.
But I was a fan of the game for a long time. After that, I switched to steam, thus going more into Team Fortress 2, wich was much funnier and less boring than Minecraft.

I'm glad I quit Minecraft, even with the good memories the game gave me.

What's Miecraft ? A bootleg version of the game ? There's plenty of those on the market, and on mutliple platforms of course.:luigimelee:

I went to the local thrift store in my hometown yesterday and I always go there and see what I can find and that was when I did a double take, I thought I was going crazy  but there were five N64 games, all CIB and they were: Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, 007 Golden Eye, Mario Kart 64, and 007 The World Is Not Enough and I ended up buying them all, and I got all five for $2.00, I'm not kidding :surprised:

After I got them I was like:

Here in Latin America, Minecraft is rather... infamous. Thanks to some youtubers called "willyrex" and "vegeta777", who are Minecraft LPs with various subscribers and are both considered to be the Latin American PewDiePies (alongside other guy called "wereverwerro" but that's a different story). Most of their subscribers are kids... who might as well play CoD online. Yeah, that bad.

Due to that, the game doesn't has the best of reputations here, in 2013 a term to call these kids popularized in the form of "Niños Rata" AKA Rat Kids (which also apply to those that play CoD, GTA, etc) due to their squaky voices and how annoying they are.

So if you live here and play it, no matter how respectful you are, you'll be called "Rat Kid" and be bashed by gamers, specially Nintendo fanboys.

Yeah, the term later began to be used on other games. Even so, last year it began to die off. It's still used, but not often anymore.

... Come on, Ninty-Spidey, don't lose control... there's nothing wrong with it... don't let your fanboy instincts to prevail... focus on other things to rage on... oh yeah, One More Day... the Tsukihime anime... I feel better.

In France, Minecraft is rather popular, both in the bad and good way.

Two persons made the game extremely popular : "TheFantasio974" and "Bob Lennon". The first one made a tutorial at the time where there was not a single one in french. The other joined the first and made the videos really funny. While they were popular, and still are, some memes were created thanks to them. One of them was joke on little kids on the game, with their squeaky voices. Bob called one of them "Jean-Kevin" as a joke name, made a stupid voice, thus creating an expression.

But in general, Minecraft as a good reputation in France. Fanta and Bob have 2 miilion subscribers on their Minecraft channel, and their gaming channel 1 million. So in total, they have 3 million fans in France. They pretty much created the trend of making Minecraft videos in France. So yeah, Minecraft is really popular in my country.
