So Target has an offer where preordering Splatoon at their store will net you a free Splatoon-themed squirt gun.

For me, 2 things:
1) I'll stick with my GameStop preorder fo dem Smash costumes.
2) No ink = No buy! :smash:
There is a version for real gamers:

Speaking of E3, I hope it's gonna be okay to me, but it probably won't due to me being picky... But it's okay I suppose if it makes many others happy.
You already know I'm eagerly waiting for more Kid Icarus related stuff, and speaking of, next year will be the 30th year of Kid Icarus and Metroid. I won't mention Zelda because it's already popular, and the other 2 franchises need more love.

:4pit::4samus: Just imagining these 2 being partners in a crossover, let alone if there is such a crossover, would be so epic. But knowing Nintendo, they probably won't acknowledge their anniversary and give Zelda even more love. :(
I hope personnaly that Paper Mario Wii U (if the leak is true) and a new Metroid would ba annouced at E3.

Arguments over memes.

This right here is why I started to dislike them.

Whatever, how has everyone been doing? It suddenly got humid where I live and running in this weather is not going to be good for the next few weeks. Not like I have a problem going out in the heat.

Yes it is callled:
Photoshop.
Or GIMP :)

I honestly thought more people used it. I agree though that it's at times hard to use, but since I msot of the time don't do complicated stuff, I just use GIMP cause it's easy with the icons as tools.

Also, it's the best available on Linux....SOOOOO, I love that it even exists int he first place :)

It's because Photoshop as a brand name is much more recognizable than GIMP is. I mean, if you just want to edit images(and not particularly seriously because some take it as a hobby) you'll go for the one everyone uses because you've seen yourself it works, right? I did hear GIMP is much better though.

ok, the thing about the Paper Mario leak is it's just a small thing, before it happened, there was a lot of reaospns to think it would be likely anyway.

So, It's not solely because of that leak, it is because of the combination of many factors, it's not the biggest one even....

Back in my days, we used to be so bored all the time that we talked about boredom itself. And by gum, we liked it. :troll:

I took the liberty of searching in youtube videos about it and....I pretty much expected it, but in terms of depth of features and quality of possible stuff, photoshop > gimp.

But the thing is, get this situation:

I'm on Linux and I do not want to come back to Windows. If GIMP didn't existed, the only thing I could do is VERY basic editing. With it, I was able to do so much stuff that I could do a lot in a minecraft ressources pack, do Paper Mario support materials and adjusting images so you don't waste bandwiths when i post them here.

Plus, I actually only grew to use it because of 2 things:

It's free as 0$
It's free as freedom.

Especially the first one. I actually never knew of paint.net and honestly, I used it some time in my Using a computer class.....and I prefered the Gimp interface. It's jsut visually better for me to have this kind of layout that you can do everything on it.

For the ease of use, maybe gimp has some points, but the point is, FOR HOW MUCH YOU PAY NOTHING FOR IT, it's awesome.

When this thread gets close to ending, I will post a solitary salad gif to bid the thread farewell.
Then again we're only on page 692...

Well in that case, I'd go with GIMP as well. Price is very important to me as well. And yeah, without Photoshop or GIMP I don't believe Linux has that great of an editing software. I used to have Ubuntu and I believe Fedora, and the image editor I had for those two by default was basically MS Paint lite.

I actually could try to use photoshop because I have a vm setup. 8gb of ram is more than enough to give it 4gb and be fine with it.

But again, it's a weird situation because I just happened to have kept my Windows license.....

And it would contradict the ease of use.....booting a vm is really if needed cause it eats ram.

Still, I love to run both OS at the same time for these situations, sometimes, Wine just decides to suck.
