Basically, any game that isn't Mario Kart, Party or any sports, is canon.Wait... Mario games are canon?
Solid theory, and I agree.Waluigi is stuck in a position where he simply can't appear in any canon Mario game. Why ? Well, I theorized (MatPat would be proud) that Nintendo simply doesn't use Mario characters created by someone that ain't Miyamoto except crossovers.

There's 2 big evidences for this theory being Waluigi and Daisy. The first one, Waluigi, was created by the team who developped Mario Tennis. They needed a partner for Wario, so they designed, with the help of Miyamoto, Waluigi. But the character itself was not created by him, he only gave tips and approved the design. And as you can see, Waluigi never appeared in any big and canon Mario games.
Princess Daisy on the other hand is different, but goes to the same point. Daisy appeared in Super Mario Land and was created by Gunpei Yokoi. While Miyamoto and Yokoi were in really good terms, the character was still not created by Miyamoto. Afterwards, Yokoi left Nintendo after the failure of the Virtual Boy, leaving the character in nothing. The company that developped Mario Tennis retook the character, making Daisy even less possibilities for her to appear in a new canon Mario game.

With this, we can say for sure that Waluigi won't appear in any new canon Mario game, unless he has the same fate as Wario. Wario was also not created by Miyamoto, but was still used due to its popularity. Unless Waluigi, or Daisy, are getting a really big attention, there's pratically no way for them to appear in any big Mario game that ain't kart racing or parties.

Thanks for anyone who read this useless theory.
If they ever decide to make another Wario Land game, that'd be the perfect opportunity to do something like that. What Waluigi needs is to star with Wario in a tag-team adventure title. That'd be awesome.

Actually, I think I remember an interview where Miyamoto said that the spinoffs take place during the characters' downtime, making them canon.Basically, any game that isn't Mario Kart, Party or any sports, is canon.
Old educational games, as well as Mario Hotel ain't canon either.
Mario's like "Hey, Bowser! I know youa hatea me and keepa kidnapping Peach and all that stuff, but howa about wea go Kart racing!?" Then Bowser is like "... Aw yeah."Actually, I think I remember an interview where Miyamoto said that the spinoffs take place during the characters' downtime, making them canon.
In the flesh and incarnate of chaos."OH MAH GOD! SPACE STRANGER!"
Speaking of that, how Wario Land : Shake it Dimension was recevied by the fan? I know that the game was criticed for being too short but i never hearing the opinion of a Wario Land fan, so that would be pretty interesting for me.If they ever decide to make another Wario Land game, that'd be the perfect opportunity to do something like that.
Yeah, try to fit "Mario Brutal Soccer" (secret name) in this.Actually, I think I remember an interview where Miyamoto said that the spinoffs take place during the characters' downtime, making them canon.
I have no idea considering I've never played that one. I do recall that it got pretty good reviews and sold pretty well. There hasn't been any plans for another one since then, though. . .Speaking of that, how Wario Land : Shake it Dimension was recevied by the fan? That would be hilariously perfect.Wario and Waluigi RPG. Call it "Wario and Waluigi: Partners in crime"
Totally didn't steal this from a friend.
I see in the Mario wiki that the title "Partner in times" to M&L 2 is a reference to a movie called, or in the name "Partners in crime". Coincidence? I THINK NOT!Wario and Waluigi RPG. Call it "Wario and Waluigi: Partners in crime"

It would be like an adult Earthbound...I want a Conker RPG...
I want a Conker RPG...
I want a Megaman game by Capcom but we both know that's never gonna happenI want a Conker RPG...
Meh, I don't mind her much, she's a secondary character after all and in the end she actually works her *** off.@Digital Hazard So I now know the dreaded "blue-haired girl" you referred to in Toradora!
...yeh, she's definitely a *****. But to be honest, I can't stand Takasu's mom even more.

Why is the son taking care of his grown mother like a child? Bleh. I know they're going for the airheaded mother archetype, but she irritates me.
Not even "The World" could help Dio get an amiibo. That 5 second limit just isn't enough.Buying amiibos in general.
He tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter...Buying amiibos in general.
Yes but it also came with Half-Life 2, all of its episodes, and Portal, and was later released as a standalone at a $20 price tag, unlike Splatoon which is being released as a fully priced game. It also didn't have a lot of the limitations Splatoon does such as no text/voice chat.Well tf2 on the release used to cost $$$ and had only 5% of it's nowadays content.
PS:It still cost to play on dead servers on consols.
But it helped this hobboNot even "The World" could help Dio get an amiibo. That 5 second limit just isn't enough.
@TylerBlackRunIt , you seem like a good fellow that supported a variety of fighters before they were deconfirmed. Would you like me to invite you to our private Predetermined Role Support Group?
