It's some sort of feature that's exclusive to Premium. Apparently, Premium members can prank each other with a pink nametag.

So I guess I don't understand Smash speculation simply because I'd be interested in seeing someone like Dr. Eggman or Knuckles be DLC.

Yeah, it's not enough to be in full knowledge that a 2nd Sonic character has rather questionable chances, for someone to truly understand Smash speculation, they have to actively OPPOSE the idea of it happening.

You know something? Check with me after the seventh Super Smash Bros game and we'll see how many Sonic characters are in Smash then. (Which I only think will be Sonic himself)

Might be a good chance to see who's laughing in the end. (Creepy laugh)

Thread peeps, what's your takeaway of this EVO's Melee Top 8?

Personally, Melee is one of those games I appreciate in how fun it is and in the technical precision it calls for at competitive level. It's just so damn technical and rigid for me that I can never get into it though. I mean, it was my first Smash ever and I can play at a fundamental levels with a tad bit of tech leeway. I prefer SSB4 by a long shot, but Melee's something that'll take time, study, and practice to git gud at. Can totally be done, but just not in the cards for me right now.

Otherwise, this tourney was pretty hype. I was rooting for Hungrybox with his Jigglypuff just by the fact that I have some sort of odium against spacies and maybe Sheiks. It's really refreshing to see Leffen and Mang0 be knocked out too (that Leffen vs. Plup final felt so good). Really admire the character and competence they have with Fox or Falco. Yet I can't really take that on them with Armada bringing Fox tried-and-true to win the last set. Huge props to him for taking his 1st EVO ever, cementing his place in Smash history to an even higher prestige. Axe's Pikachu looked like it would simmer down the Fox at one point too.
