Well I played DT and I have to disagree slightly.

If I check the pure number, I get why they do this: they want you to really have a strategy to have a constant stream of damages so that the heal will be enough to do damages in the end.

it basically makes the fight much harder because you need a different strategy and it promotes the concept of you will really have a hard time if you're underleveled, but for any RPG, this is good imo.

I honestly liked how Halo CE handled it, shields recharged but health stayed the same and you needed to use 1st-aid kits.

Meh, I'm not much of a fan of JFA in general to be honest. The only reason I like case 3 is solely because of Moe.
