Good morning everyone.:kirby:

So I looked up the difference between a weeaboo and an otaku, and this was what I got:

Now I know who is what, I think.

Pls don't tell me all weeaboos are fat.

It's that time for Snapshots again, featuring some more stuff. This time 4 snapshots I guess.

You may get this reference a bit if you played Metroid Prime 2 (I haven't)

This totally is not a Beyblade battle, but they're both trying to "top" one another in a spinning battle.

A Water Bowser? Finally, that's a real turtle.

I'm usually reminded that friends are often there for you when you have a bad day.
Yep, more :4pit:x:4zss: in a way.

Hope you enjoy. *shivers*
Part of me feels lazy, but enjoy anyways.

>"grammer"

HA.

I love it when people misspell the word "grammar". The almost-irony is wonderful.

And if I use the word "Kawaii", it's because I'm trying to be partially funny. "Kawaii" is a cutesy word, not a "cool" word.

Thanks so much! ^^;

Could it be you found the Metroid reference in a way, or it's just how bright and nice it looks? o:
thinks its a combination of the color, lighting, pose and stuff like that.
basically its a really good shot all around :4pacman:

eh it's a joke, anyways.
he most likely misspelled grammar on purpose, considering the nature of the image.

Not wanting to burst your bubble but otaku is actually an insult.

Really, it was first used to describe asocial people obsessed with photography, but later it translated to a general obsession with anything (most frequently anime). When the word came to the west, it was mistranslated into anime fan, but the terminology in Japan is still the same today.

So, yeah: Weaboo=Anime Otaku.

That's why I prefer to call people anime fans instead of that.

Possibly, but it can be really hard to tell sometimes.

Some people are really serious about being "Grammer" Nazis.

i like that kyuubey in a top hat.
and that random dracula image lol.
Kyubey in a top hat actually comes from this piece of fanart, which i saved mostly for the Kyubey in a top hat.

Dracula is currently my PS4 avatar.

The same reason we think swag is some great term when it's really a synonym for drooping curtains: because the kiddos thought it was "kool".

Huh. Never knew how strong of a connotation those words had. And yeah, I see many people use Otaku very lightly.
Just another reason to despise us and our confusing language.
