So anyone else notice how the smash wii u starting stage roster is almost as big as brawls final? cant wait to hopefully see a new duck hunt and game and watch stage.

Probably will be more stages than brawl imo.

Honestly, the 64 intro was super amazing too. Melee's was beautiful. Brawl's and 4's was good too, but, IMO, tehy showed the gameplay instead of the cutscenes a little too often. However, I liked Brawl's more because it showed off the SSE cutscenes before you ever saw them in the game proper.

Do we know the starting roster? There have been multiple pictures and all were different.

Makes me wonder what the plot would be, lots characters from different franchises who have almost nothing to do with each other seems pretty hard to handle though.

Master Hand would probably be the one who calls everyone to Smash World and acts as the antagonist, especially in season 1 because of lack of a villain (Smash 64 roster).

Eh, the intro is alright. But it does not have much power to it and just feels like a bonus video similar to what melee had in one of its menus. Could be better, could be worse.

Pretty much the only intro that didn't have reused footage was the 64 one. Everything else just used abridged versions of the E3 trailers.

Yeah pretty much. 64 was the only one with a completely different intro. I don't care about intros at all, but I know some people want to see the game's opening.
Also Pokémon Stadium 2 is on Wii U...yeah, eh.

Well, the Melee opening still brings some tears to my eyes, that opening is really special because at that time took the concept of "Bring all Nintendo Characters togehter" to a new level and showed it in a majesctic way. And 13 years later that concept isn't really new anymore but still, this new opening is very good, even if they resued footage of the previous trailers because those trailers were already epic.

I think Melee was the best opening-wise. 64's was great and Brawl and Smash Wii U are in the okay side of things. I guess?

To be honest, Smashville returning is kinda redundant. Not like it's a bad thing, Wii U gets an additional legal stage.
We could have been fine with just Town and City, right.

Am I the only one who thinks it's annoying that there are more Mario stages than there are Mario characters? I know this was the case in Brawl but we have SEVEN characters now. And on top of that, we have a Yoshi's Wooly World stage but not Bowser's Skyscraper from 3DWorld?

Of course, I love most of the stages we do have so I don't have much of a problem. Just a minor inconvenience.

And I know Wrecking Crew isn't /technically/ a mario stage, but I feel like it's the most fitting stage for Dr. Mario.

Everything (Youtube and my retail copy of Mario Kart 7 specifically) takes forever to load,
the online rarely loads for those games either,
and trying to close them takes forever as well.
THIS IS BAD.
I DON'T WANNA LOSE MY 3D-IN-2D-S.

I really wish Megaman's Up Smash was something other than Spark Shock. My OCD freaks out at the concept of using a weapon that originally did no damage against most enemies for an attack that is typically used to deal significant damage and possibly KO.

It still works, but only for people who have a certain thing I forgot the name of.

PKHeX and a save loader thing that only works for Japanese 3DS units and the Japanese version of Pokémon X/Y. The thing with PokéGen is that it made Wi-Fi battles go faster by doing "legal" Pokémon, battle with them and then keep making "legal" Pokémon, instead of breeding. I understand why people breed Pokémon though. It's almost needed if you want to make a perfect Pokémon for official (online) events, and then you can see the legality by having the blue pentagon starting from X/Y (it's present in OR/AS too).

Not really, Platforms are completely different on town and city. It's like pokemon stadium 1 and 2 comparitively.

Bad Eggs are not that common in Pokémon games anymore. Outside of the Wonder Trade problem (that happened a long time ago), in which the Mystery Egg situation happened and players put their Pokémon in Pokémon Bank just for safety.

That's a relief for me, I have a Reshiram I got from the GTS in "quarantine box" because it has 6 Perfect IVs so I may move it to a normal box
