Well, anything is a possibility now, but it seems like DLC takes Nintendo A LOT of time. Few months for a character? Prolly will mean only few DLC packs total possible.

They probably started developing him after the main game's development.

DLC done right. It is done after the main game, so it will be added later.

Here's hoping it's not just Mewtwo that gets this treatment, but him alone is already great.

And the Pokémon series is back to 6 characters. Instead of Squirtle and Ivysaur, we have Greninja and Mewtwo.

It's not a bad lineup. I feel that there's too much 1st/6th playable representation, but that's just me.

Sakurai does a Lucario and uses the anime for inspiration where the second (the feminine one) joins this Mewtwo, they both change into X and Y and then both attack at the same time.
Just a thought.

Found Porky Minch. The fact that he has a green trophy base for Smash Tour/World might mean he is a totally different kind of item in the mode (red items seem "active" and blue seem "passive" based on the item descriptions that we can see). In my opinion, he must be back as a boss.

Huh, I suppose it would make more sense as an attack than a transformation state.

Or maybe, have him turn into X, and at the end of time duration of final Smash he would turn into Y briefly to unleash a final attack. I guess you can make it work!

I don't think so.....
IMO, I think they couldn't properly work on 8-player Smash (16 characters at once IS a lot), so Sakurai cut him from the Wii U edition as well.....
