Apparently, Aonuma wants Link's Master Bike from Mario Kart 8 to be in future Zelda titles. Would any of you like the idea of modern technology (like that aforementioned bike) in the Zelda franchise?

It got Cia, Volga, and Wizzro as free DLC characters.

Tomorrow there's going to be an $8 DLC pack with a new Adventure Mode map and Epona.

You can't play Palutena like other character. Her moveset is designed to punish whiffing, and she puts special emphasis on mix ups. A basic one is using the down throw and Reflector, then reading the opponent based on their action. If they go above you use the up smash, or if they try going away from you use Autoreticle, to name a few.

By the way, the default specials are her best ones, barring Super Speed and Jump Glide. The others are frankly crap, either because they don't provide enough or they contrast with Palutena's playstyle.
Light weight is much better than counter. Excellent for gimping and off-stage chasing. A better follow up than reading from a d-grab is to just f-air imo. That could just be my play style though. You can possibly get two f-airs then regrab> then d-grab again> Short-hop fast fall nair> d-grab again>more Palutena grab follow ups.

I personally like to d-grab>n-air> auto-reticle. If they jump into it you can follow up with a dash attack. Or more grab silliness. up-smash is really vulnerable as a follow-up to d-grab if they can just dodge out of it.

I agree that Palutena's game play is based mostly off of reads.

Oh **** guys, new Adventure Map has unlockable costumes for a lot of characters, including Zant, Agitha, Ganondorf and few others. It shows as a bronze shirts on the map like with the weapons. It also has new special rules like time limits, no heals and other stuff.

It doesn't help that every thing Sakurai says is turned into a headline.

There's a huge difference between:
"I never considered Ridley. I guess we could make him work. He might be a bit slow, is that alright? [laughs]"

I've never found Lightweight to be useful. It's mainly the trade off not helping Palutena win against match ups, in fact it makes it worse. It's not like Shulk with Speed active since the trade off is more fair. Super Speed gives you that in spades, but since it fuctions as an attack it's more safe to use againsts opponents, and the ability to gain a lot of momentnum from jumping means that you can strike from the other side ASAP. Counter has uses because Palutena's attacks are punishable, meaning that being able to punish reckless players is useful. It's the same reason that Vision benefits Shulk in match ups againsts certain characters like Little Mac.

I don't like using Palutena. Something about her moveset just doesn't suit well with me.

Could be lack of experience, though.

Honestly, I'm just sad at much of the dislike for the poor Goddess of Light.

Sounds like gaming webcomic joke. Start with scenario, make fanbase shout headline, make situation more mundane and make the headline more absurd as the joke is beaten to a dead horse.

I'll go admit, I watched 4 episodes of Brotherhood, the direction is definitely much better than the original. I still don't like Al's voice.
That's what happens when the original version was voiced by a talented child actor. Not that the lady doing the voice in FMA:B is bad. Just that it's hard to top a child doing the voice of a child character properly. Think like Aang and Toph in Avatar.

BROTHERHOOD HYPE. And its weird how the 2001 anime turned out (since the writer asked the studio to change it up).

I guess its more of a play style thing.

I typically don't like the rage effect especially with Palutena. Since she won't be able to combo low percents opponents when she's at high percents. But since she can use light weight she can combo still. Even high percent opponents she can combo out of the d-grab. Palutena's moves are very punishable though. I'm not too fond of counter since it can leave you open. I tend not to use counter when I'm in default.

Being a melee Falco main makes everything one else I play really aggressive. So Lightweight is a good move for me. During the slow down she still has movement options to make up for her slow dash speed. Jumpglide and Super Speed make great alternatives. For me the 3% more damage per hit is not that much of a risk.

FMA Brotherhood is one of the best things ever, you won't be disappointed. Al's voice will grow on you.
