When you guys say OCs, do you mean Sonic OC's, or just original characters?
I don't know, OC sounds so unprofessional, even for unprofessionals.

The term original character was suppose to represent original story characters that were not fan fiction or based on other original work. OC was just a easy way to put it.

The term is pretty damaged at this point due the term getting hijacked by people making fan characters to make their creations seem more legitimately original then they actually are.

I think it's more that Sonic is somehow popular enough on his own that they don't even need to try in order to sell to some of their customer so they simply aren't trying.

So...for you guys who have experience, how do you come up with your OCs? Do you research what personalities they could have and whatnot?

I'm a bit late to this because I had class, but I've been basing the personalities off of people I know, personality traits I had when I was younger (which is very different from my current norm), and my current personality traits.

There's the occasional personality that I just think would be fun, so I use it, but that doesn't happen very often, for example, one of my characters is very snooty, sophisticated, and posh, and I don't know anyone like that.

Guys, I'm still here, though I've gotten a better name for the next round of speculation our moments of playing Smash Wii U/3DS.

But who said that I still won't be maining him in Smash with the many improvements that he had gotten.
