Noticed this today myself, North America will have to do this for 3DS and Wii U games now. Pretty cheap:

Part of the problem may be jerks at EB Games stealing the inserts though.

I mean, Wii U's been out less than two years.

Dreamcast launched 27/11/1998 in Japan and 9/9/1999 in North America and was discontinued in March 2001 but continued to sell for a while.

I was playing the demo version of the game for several days, and I never felt that the controls didn't work. In fact, I actually preformed some gnarly combos with characters like Mario and Pikachu pretty well. If anything, the problem I'm facing has nothing to do with the gamepad, but the placement of the L/R buttons, and that has to do with said buttons being more small then a controller like the GameCube controller. But it's a nitpick, and it didn't hinder me otherwise.[/]

Yeah, that's true. Didn't the Wii U have a "meh" launch line-up, because the 3DS had that for sure.

I have no problem with the default controls; I got used to them real quick right after downloading the demo for the first time. I'd only change the shoulder buttons (L = Shield and R = Grab) but that's it.
