How to tell Pit and Dark Pit apart: Pit's wing's are white. Dark Pit's are black.

So unless one of either character's palettes changes that, it should be fairly simple to tell them apart, I would think, since the wings are pretty big.

EDIT: Yeah, none of Pit's palette swaps make his wings black this game. The most they change to is pink.

Not to mention, their weapons are different colors (Gold for Pit's and Silver for Pittoo's) and Pittoo's Side Special looks different cosmetically from Pit's. Pittoo's arrows are dark purple while Pit's are blue, as well.

They also have different voices, so using a mirror match Ganondorf isn't really the same because, well, Ganondorf will have the same voice as Ganondorf.
All irrelevant when both are metal or invisible. Models are the only thing that matters these days for telling two different characters apart due to every single factor in how the game can be played.

The only way to tell them apart is the 1P/2P piece at best now. Or if you have a Name on. Useless for me, but it's something, I guess.

'sup people. Has anyone talked about Peach players getting accidentally banned on Smash Bros.?

And people thought Villager and Dedede were scary... :troll:
It's a bad programming glitch. She can pull out regular items(things like the Turnips and Bombs are probably coded differently as Character Projectiles now in some way, or don't count as regular Items regardless) during a Match, which breaks the For Glory rules. My guess is that he'll program her so during For Glory mode will make it so she can't pull Items any more. It's a blatant oversight and to be honest, really easy to forget. Kind of like Toad. :p

I normally pay attention to the one that responds to my inputs, but whatever, different people have different ways of doing it.

Sorry to jump discussions, but speaking of Toad...

This was the funniest comics I read in a while.

If that had worked, trust me, I wouldn't have so easily lost that match in the tourney. It's how easy you can tell them apart that always mattered the most. Especially since getting confused is not hard at all with two identical characters. The problem is that Dark Pit does not play that differently. I know he has some weight differences and I think maybe a move difference? I'm unsure if he has anything but a unique Final Smash. But that won't help. The actual stance and movements will help a little, at least. Except when invisible(although to be fair, that's the one time where only Names or Icons are a bit useful). But few use that mode for that reason alone.

I'm just disappointed Sakurai didn't bother to make him look somewhat unique to make sure the potential of being confused is unlikely. Ironically, I did call he would have a different model no matter what. It's a tiny difference with his wrist, but ti's there. I was just expecting way more than that. Plus, I think we can both agree recolors are useless when metal anyway.

Welp, Minecraft is going to the get the same horrible treatment as Rare now that Microsoft owns them. :troll:

I don't know. We could get better skins. :p

Minecraft is a large seller. I honestly think they're better off than what Rare got. It's not going anywhere. I am worried about it not being available on computers, though.

Also known as "Nuts and Bolts 2".
I thought we were talking about terrible ideas. Still far better than "forced to make Kinect games". I don't mind odd sequels. The series is getting love, after all. Killer Instinct 3 is yet another.

I'm absolutely fascinated with this acquisition. It's obviously Microsoft's attempt to have true inroads with children, and it will be successful, but I don't know if it will be to the degree that they hope it will. The time to acquire Mojang was a while ago.

As for Notch? Interviewed the guy in another lifetime. He's an odd dude, but he's definitely got the opportunity to pursue what he's always talked about: creating and publishing independent games on the small scale.

People tend to forget, the man is VERY Swedish, and in turn, doesn't tend to take to the limelight like, say an American would.

And people tend to forget Microsoft publishes products for all platforms - if they think they can make a buck, they'll sell you something. I wouldn't worry about any other version.

I played Ganondorf mirror matches in Melee and once again, I didn't have problems telling them apart.

Is it just me, or do all upbeat arrangements of the Super Mario Bros. theme sound similar to the point I can't stand listening to them. >_>

I can enjoy this variation, because it at least SOUNDS different, and goes for a more mellow mood.

I'm, notably, the only voice of reason on the forums itself too for that section.

I'm the only one with a legitimate open mind. Everybody's too biased to realize that "hints with no real evidence" mean just that. Then again, there is a dumb troll who sees implications in stuff that was never there.

This is also why I want the Pokemon Trainer trophy in 4 translated. It 100% proves that PT was not solely based upon Red, as it outright mentions the anime cast but not Red, which I still find strange, but it is what is is.
