I know a certain person who has to apologize to Shokio for wrongfully accusing of BS 10+ times. No,it's not you,I'm just saying.
Not until we know for sure he's not playable overall. DLC etc. might change that. Of course, he could be nothing more than a stage hazard. I'm fine with that too. But until we know, no use is declaring it "over".

I know I have no room to speak since I posted in the thread, but my god at all the one post accounts asking for a code in the code giveaway thread.

So after countless matches with Mega Man on FD Battlefield, I can give some insight to his moveset. Although everything I say may have already been said:
  • He's not very good at close range. Although his throws provide good setup potential, he's best played as a keepaway, ranged character.
  • His Crash Bomber special is a little annoying. It acts like the gooey bomb, where even if it sticks to your opponent, if you try to lock your opponent up close the bomb will stick to you and explode. >.>
  • Leaf Shield has quite the slow start-up, and you can't combo it into anything. You can't even attack, as any attack button will shoot your life shield away. And if you hold onto it, it'll disappear after a few seconds. It's best use is protecting you from projectiles for at least 4 shots.
WARNING: I AM NOT A SMASH PRO, BUT I AM FAMILIAR WITH FIGHTING GAMES AND THEIR DEEP MECHANICS.

Yes, Mega Man is going to be a zoning specialist. If you intend to use Mega Man, you'll have to learn the importance of space control. If you are positioned in the wrong area, you're going to get punished for it. In fact the only safe option on the ground I can think of off the top of my head would be the down tilt (the iconic Mega Man slide) due to it's range.

That was actually a really amazing stream by Nintendo Treehouse.
A Toad skull appears when you die in Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker.

Rather creepy. You don't see that in other Mario games.

I find it odd how the Donkey Kong series doesn't even have Assist Trophies.

I'm not really upset by it, but it's very odd nonetheless.

Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Wario and even EarthBound got new Assist Trophies, but Donkey Kong gets nothing.

Donkey Kong does get a lot of regular Trophies.
So Chunky Kong remains a myth after all.
I wonder if there will be rumors of his appearances in other games...

New EarthBound assist?

*searches*

Oh my god Starman. They're really having a lot of Mother 1 content this time with the Magicant cameos, the Devil Car, and having the Starman (which were in both Mother 1 and 2) in addition to Jeff.

The third game seems a bit ignored this time. Jarring, considering most Brawl content from the EarthBound series came from Mother 3.

Do you guys think the reason Mother 3 has barely any content is because people in Japan hate mother 3?

This demo might be extremely limited but I'm having a lot of fun.
I still feel stupid for spending my spare money on the code though.

Donkey Kong in general isn't getting much.

Hell, the only DK stage we know is just Jungle Japes reused for the third time. No newcomers, no new stages, no new items.

Normally people would use Kid Icarus as the scapegoat due to jealousy, but in my opinion at least I don't mind because I really enjoy Kid Icarus: Uprising.

The Japanese hate Mother 3?

Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember seeing the pre-Brawl polls have a fair amount Mother 3 content requested (such as characters, items, etc.).

I'm amazed with the demo. The looks and all are just so great. Once I get used to the controls, things will be much better.

I wonder if the people streaming the game have forgotten that Dedede exists. I have not seen ANYBODY play him even for a moment.
You must've been looking away, then. They played as him for a few good matches.

Anyway, I see this whole thing about "Demo Codes" going around. I'm guessing they're locking us out of playing the demo for a week but people who get special codes get to play them now instead? That's kinda stupid.

Oh well. I know I won't be getting one, so meh.

man the code feeding frenzy makes me think of the lines for gas during hurricane sandy. People are weird.

I hoped to get that email and share, didn't happen - oh well! I can wait a week.
