I'd rather want it on Wii U with beautiful HD visuals. It's perfect for this type of game honestly! (And you never needed an actual camera to play the game, so his logic made even less sense)

That could show off GamePad's capabilities to some extent.. the gyroscope, and something like Wii U Panorama View, I guess? Visuals could be something like XD, Colosseum, and Battle Revolution, but upgraded.

Pretty sure he meant taking pictures was not commonplace and that now with phones all having a camera and that literally everyone and their mother can take a picture that it would not have the same feel as the first game since photography is not locked to only a stand alone camera anymore.

Oh okay, the quote is not as bad as I've remembered it. They definitely not discarding the idea of a sequel (although still very unlikely but that's just a gut feeling), but... IDK. I thought the appeal was to take photos of Pokemon in their natural habitat and see them doing cool things. I feel photography being a lot more common is kind of irrelevent.

The main game was a joke in terms of difficulty since the release of red and blue, even little kids were easily capable of flattening the main game and still so today so making it so easy a lobotomized person can beat it is just insulting.
