I finally got time to watch the game awards because I like torturing myself and my god,it was a big improvement from the last year,here is why:
1-Not a big media like Spike backfunding.
2-A real audience watching instead of some random comedian talking trash.
3-The awards were better and more deserving.
4-Great concert about games with imagine dragoon and Koji kondo,not GTA V lullabyes with a bunch of random n*g*as.
5-Heartwarming moments like the concerts,and the award for big names of gaming industry to the couple of Sierra.
6-Screaming f*g didn't win treding gamer award.
6-Nintendo had a better presence on the event.
7-Announcements worth of the gamers time like Zelda U and Metal gear online.
8-The scale grade was better than the last year,the hypest moments for the final minutes of the show.
9-No stupid viral youtubers poping out of nowhere.
10-Mario kart 8 best sport game suck EA.
10-No interrupts to the person talking on stage,being respectful to what it has to show.
But I still don't like the fact Bayonetta 2 won nothing,and why fear to have Reggie getting the 3 trophies on stage to unfair for you Pope Dewritos .

I mostly play offline with friends (some are competitive players like me, some complete casuals). I have no idea how my KO total is so high -- might be the many 8-player matches we've had or Multi-Man challenges.
Also worth noting, we played multiple (serious) 1-stock battles at launch to unlock characters quicker.

This!! I thought every award went to the right address, except for Best Action Game. That should've been Bayonetta 2, imo. I also really hated how everyone kept talking over the Dragon Age: Inquisition video.

Just on the awards I disagreed strongly with several of them. For example mobile games shouldn't count as handheld games, even if they did Smash 3DS is waaaaay better, and there's no way in hell that whatever they did in 'remaking' GTA V is better than what GameFreak did in remaking Ruby and Sapphire. But that's just me. I'm glad to see other people enjoyed it.

If it changes anything, I personally think ORAS are way more than remakes as the term stands today (HD re-release mostly).

Yeah that sums it up brilliantly really. Same with The Last of Us as well, as much as I love that game, the remake is simply a HD re-release.

By the way, if anyone's bored and for some weird reason isn't playing Smash, you might want to check this out. Some relatively good play. Running doubles currently. I try to keep it in the background while writing these damn essays, but it's difficult to avert my eyes.
EDIT: Scratch "relatively", the level of play is slowly increasing. M2K is there as well. Yay!
