The middle is all assassin-like. Both the popular franchise and that assassins in general tried to keep their faces and head obscure. I guess they went with the left one, but with the right one's head wrappings and a lack of flowing scarf. Y'know, I was thinking about what if the Sheikah and therefore, Sheik returned in another Zelda game, what they would look like. They're associated with ninja and samurai, but I have a feeling they could be associated with Middle Eastern stuff - not so knowledgeable here. Considering that the Zelda Wii U game looks like Link is a hunter or some kind of traveling ranger, maybe the Sheikah could return as a nomadic tribe similar to the Romani people or maybe they're stationed in a desert guarding secrets. I don't know, but I'd like more than just Impa, Impaz, and Sheik as representations of Sheikah.

I wouldn't recommend Metroid II as your first game, it's one of (if not the) hardest game in the series. (I don't think Metroid II is very good either, but that's just my opinion.)

My first game was Prime, but Zero Mission and Super Metroid are good starting points as well.
