Still, it's like the universe hate his guts or something. Like for example Tobias (so you're telling me that the man that came literally out of nowhere was somehow able to get through with a Darkrai and no one gave a crap?).

The Pokémon anime is flawed. Kanto was eh. Johto series was eh. Advanced was decent. DPP was okay. BW was a disaster, and X/Y is just Serena blushing every time she sees Ash (disaster).
The other part of it is Pikachu acting like a hero lol. Examples:

I honestly don't really keep up with the Pokemon anime much anymore. I liked the first series and the one that revolved around Gen 4 (forgot what that one was called) as well, above all others. For the most part the others were kind of "meh" to me.

I might try starting up the X/Y anime sometime soon regardless though, if only out of curiosity.

Yeah but Ash only has to scan the Pokemon with his Dex to get the entry. So really he's much closer to completion than 25.

Hes got terrible habits with scanning though, such as rescanning lucario and actually having a brain failure so bad he had to rescan a Koffing.
