In gen 1, I think Raichu had it too. But not Pikachu. I guess there's no real point in renaming it to double edge or something else.

There were a bunch of pokemon that could learn it through TM but Blastoise family was the only that learned it by leveling up

Edit: I forgot it was a TM

Edit: That also means in gen 2 Blastoise family was the only ones that learned it, except by breeding

It was only a signature move for the Squirtle line in Gen II (though until Sharpedo, the Squirtle line is the only line that can learn it naturally).
In Gen I, it was a TM that many Pokémon (including Pikachu; not just Raichu) could learn.

Thats the thing though: it was in such a tight space, any attempts to call it resulted in voicemail recording, as in it was out of reach of the signal and thought it was off, which scared me that someone already found it and took it.

The fact that Sakurai made a detailed Alph alt for Olimar but gave Peach the same lazy Daisy recolor from Brawl saddens me. It's as if an underrated character like Daisy can NEVER have some great justice in Smash.

Probably did not want to make her and Wolf as alternates because he would use them for DLC if possible.
