Yes, it is, but nobody knows that because it's a Japan-only title. Pretty sure it had the exact same mechanics as Awakening, but without the skills, too.

Haven't gotten around to playing my import copy, so this is surprising to me as well.

There are more people than you think who think like that, mostly the veterans who don't realize FE would've been dead and forgotten by now if Awakening weren't a success.

So because the series was dying, fans don't have the right to voice their opinions about the change in direction IS has taken the series in?

Blind hatred is dumb I agree, but the state the series was in doesn't invalidate nor add ground to an opinion.

Are you sure it's not your PC itself? It might need its insides a good dusting. Or it could be an underpowered PC, but an OS that can't support that sounds illogical.

My PC's fast, so Windows 10 runs fast for me. For some reason though, the Start Menu is broken. Even after using Restore Point, after a short time I get a BSOD with a particular error code that causes the Start Menu to malfunction.

No really it horrible... My custom rig was built in September 2014 and it specs are very good.

Really though if I had to pick from any fighter it would probably be someone from Tekken or Melty Blood, or even Lethal League (though I dont advocate indie characters for smash, so forget the last one)

Aoko from Melty Blood would be real cool, from tekken i'd probably pick Jin or Azuka

It's been years since ive played Tekken though and I only messed with melty blood casually.

really though someone from a beat em up would be the best course of action, like Streets of Rage's Adam. Could come with a cool street level which would just be a flat walkoff with a sick aesthetic. Potentially enemy CPU fighters coming in from the sides to brawl a la nabbit
