Unfortunately not. Throwing from the top floor first just means your vases will break immediately (in any non-best case scenario). Seeing as we're looking at a worst-case scenario, you have to start somewhere you can manage throwing one vase off each consecutive floor going up (starting potentially at floor 1) should your first one break.

Definitely shady. Then again, I hear the worse days of Capcom where they got the infamy of doing Disc-Locked Content and such things was when Inafune has power over there.

Like Hideki Kamiya said, the guy isn't a creator but a businessman. And he's looking to be the shady sort.

Well to be fair, it was originally a £900k target that got quadruple the funding. The extraneous funding was to provide more content, porting and accessibility, not necessarily enhance the game's graphics or gameplay capability.

But even if the gameplay itself is strong, the audiovisual designs and graphics aren't helping to enhance it. (At least from what I've seen). I'm hoping it's better in the final build, but my hope has dwindled.

Inafune was stupid in creating a Kickstarter for another game and an anime before even finishing his current project.

I think the quadruple funding he got for his first Kickstarter gave him waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much confidence.

@ Professor Gravy Professor Gravy - Oooh what an interesting way to take it, I didn't think you'd leap to there. Okay, so you have a few ways you can go from here instead of the one big leap. 18 is more efficient than 19 though!


.... But you can STILL (:O) get more efficient! :D

Ohohohohoho! Indeed, 19 throws by doing it in 10's is by far the most efficient answer thus far. But now that you've gotten here, you have one more vital step to take before you find the final, and correct answer.

In other words, 19 throws is amazing, but you can STILL get more efficient. ;)

This seems like a long shot, but what if I started on the 17th floor, then to the 33th floor, 48th floor, 62th floor, 75th floor, 87th floor, 98th floor, and finally to the 100th floor. And when one vase breaks, I return to the previous floor I was on and throw the second vase in increments of 1. And if my math is correct (which it probably isn't), this should give me 18 throws in a worst case scenario.

Oh hey, a new thread. Has there been any news regarding when the smash DLC releases? If it's Japanese AM, it should release in the US tonight :p

If it's Japanese AM, it should release in 3 hours max. But 4 AM UK time/5 AM Germany time isn't really a logical time to release it.

Yeah, I get that....though it'd be odd to release it periodically throughout the day in different areas..that's prevent online play on modes like For Glory, at least for a while.
