So I replaced my hdd with my new ssd.

It is indeed like night and day, you are really blind if you can;t notice the difference.

I timed with my 3ds both startup time in recording it.

The hdd takes more than 1 minute and 10 seconds to start linux mint.

The ssd takes about 30-35 seconds, litterally, the message that my monitor displays when it detected a dvi signal was longer than the startup screen of the os.

And as soon as it starts, it's just so quick. I could load chrome in about 5 seconds AS SOON AS IT STARTED!!!!

I had to wait 30 seconds to load it on my hdd, and doing it as soon as I can made the wait annoying.

Even installing program is much quicker.

Look, this is ridiculous. I'm serious guys, if you ever upgrade to an ssd, you wouldn't want to start an os on a hdd ever. That's how magical they are

and silent too. I don't hear any scratching anymore because the ssd doesn't need to scratch.

How do you even check what updates you have?

Settings -> Update and security -> Windows Update -> Advanced options -> View your update history.

actually, they aren't small, but they are expensive (1tb ssd exists).

That's the thing actually. buy a low capacity ssd for os and frequently loaded program while you put your massive data on the other drives.

but booting on an ssd is just......insane....

As long as they do not release it for profit, Hasbro can file a suit; however, it will not go anywhere. I mean, all of that hard work, you might as well just release what you have done for free.
