It may fail to install properly, so the system reboots to undo the update, then tries to reinstall...but fails again and reboots again...causing a loop.

Luckily there's a way to fix it

I think I have that update already and it runs just fine.
Although that trick must fix it for those who are running into problems.

Mine do not. Every time a new game comes out, I realize that I took the original cast for granted. I do not play any Brawl or Smash 4 characters at a moderately high level; however, with that, I can play a lot of older characters extremely well. A decade of experience will do that for you.
