Well that was completely unexpected. Chandelure. Jesus man... If it wasn't for the fact we got four reveals in under two-three days, I would be ******** so hard right now. I mean- what a rubbish reveal. It wasn't Swampert like I thought it would be, but now I kind of wish it was. I'm not doubting Chandelure's potential, but out of the 5th Gen Pokemon from that list, Hydreigon was much more deserving, in my opinion.

Well, no matter. This doesn't ruin Pokken for me, and I'm sure there's more to come. And in the end, it really doesn't matter cause my boy Lucario is in there, and I'll more then likely main him.

Gen 5 has some of the bossest looking pokemon.. How can you hate?

Really? I thought most of the Pokemon from Gen 5 felt really dull and uninspired. None of them really made me think, "gee, I want to train that"... And overall, I just found B/W to be huge letdowns in general. Definitely my least favorite entries in the series.

Well, I guess if he's a fan favorite, it's alright. At least it's justified. I'm still not happy about his inclusion over Hydreigon, but I'll get over it. It just irritates me that a possessed chandelier was more appealing then a dark three headed dragon. But I guess I've always been the odd one out.

I'll be honest, I like it.

Chandelure is one of my favorite Ghost Pokémon and even if I find them all the time in Smash Run, I can't bring myself to hate the thing.

Now how nostalgia freaks will take it, on the other hand...

Yes. (laughs) But by making something that draws upon its flatness, like Stunfisk rice crackers, we were like, "This'll work!" You could say that's what's fun about product development. When we made metal charms, we thought that a set of the three Pokémon that the player first chooses from would sell the most, but actually the set with Litwick, Lampent, and Chandelure was the top seller by far.

I'd love to see some form of stun spore/paralysis inflicting Pokemon with low knockback and overall power in relation to the rest of the cast, but strong combo potential.
