There's a Cyborg with Cyrax, Sektors, and possibly Smoke's movesets in each of his variations. That's the hypest **** to me. Also, Alien with Baraka Powers.

The Xenomorph indeed has Tarkatan abilities, which is a nice nod to the fact that it obtains abilities from its host. It makes me wonder if the other variations will result in other hosts (Four-armed Alien, anyone?)

Tri-Borg (yes, that's its name) in Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke. Most people assumed that each cyborg it portrays is a different variation, which is really cool! If I had to guess it's origins, I'd say he's NOT Smoke, but heavily inspired from him and could have the ability to download data from other robots (kinda like Mega Man)

Leatherface is...surprising. I mean, I honestly thought they'd have brought back Freedy Krueger (which would've made more sense because Freddy vs. Jason). Of course, I don't mind him nor his iconic chainsaw, but he's still a truly unexpected addition.

Bo Rai Cho? He's kind of the odd one there, especially since Rain and Sindel are actual opponents in the Story Mode (so is Baraka, but Xenomorph takes his spot)

If we get Freddy and Terminator in a third Kombat Pack, I'm ****ing done!

Terminator and Robocop is the other movie rivalry. Since both a game and some comics were made out of it. If I'm not mistaken, Leatherface was added because Ed Boon was a fan of the movies. And the creator of Leatherface's character had passed recently. Though I'm sure that wasn't the only reason.

I have a lot of trouble seeing RoboCop in this game. Sure, he's cool, but he doesn't really fit in Mortal Kombat.

Terminator would be a perfect fit since it's basically a machine that was programmed to kill. It also uses all kinds of guns, so it'd be really cool to see how Ed Boon translates that in MKX.

Freddy already has some kombat experience and there's a "Freddy vs. Jason" dream matchup waiting to be experienced. I'm surprised that he's not in yet...

And Predator is pretty sick. Obviously all of his moves come from the movies. The Claw, the Spear, the Shoulder Cannon and even that Glaive thing he uses. He even copies his opponent's laugh like in the first movie.

Jax also gets a Carl Weathers costume.

I wonder if I'm one of the few who remember when Samurai Jack was on back in the early 2000's, which seems like ancient history now.

I'm curious to know what peoples impressions of Smash are, or as I call the "Smash" effect, Its not what you think of the game, its what feelings you get from the game. Sometimes I get joy from it, and most days I just get downright agitated online. Agitation is probably one of the most common symptoms of Smash, I always say if you haven't felt some type of agitation with this game, you haven't gotten the full effect yet.

Currently reading the Link to the Past manga!

Every time I read that manga it makes me sad Ghanti isn't an official Nintendo character.

Why is it that when they make interesting side Zelda characters they either don't get the recognition they deserve (Tetra and ESPECIALLY Vaati) or aren't canon (Ghanti, Linkle, Lana).

The Zelda mangas even bother to give the Hylian Lake Scientist from OoT and MM an official name, Dr. Mizumi, which is what I refer to him as now when discussing said games, and his antics in the bonus chapters of the OoT Manga make me wish Nintendo did more with him.

While we're at it, the manga versions of Link are usually pretty on point to what I imagine for each incarnation (So far I've read OoT 1 and 2, MM, Minish Cap, and LttP for the record) so that's pretty great.
