Ok, I'll admit that several of them were gifts from friends and family. One in particular, like my older brother who works outside of town, makes sure to gift me with something once in a while when he gets paid. He's pretty nice and makes sure to at least get one thing for each family member while he's gone. I'll never forget the day that he gave me a certain Amiibo pack from online when I was having trouble finding some of the more pesky ones (freaking Wario).

He was literally non-existent at the time. Sure, they both share similarities here and there, but will that make a big impact? I hope not.

Ahhh, one of these discussions.

To put it this way, nothing is original. No matter how great or unique an idea may appear to be, it was always sparked/ignited by another concept. It doesn't mean nobody can't put a new twist on a character design or make an environment look awe-inspiring. It's just whatever idea that sparks in your head has a 99% chance it was already thought up by another person in the past.

I see the comparison, but there are very little similarities aside from "Spiky-Haired Floating Thing"
I guess it's more-so up to conjecture.
