What makes them a cosmic horror isn't really their power (otherwise Goku would be a cosmic horror), it's the way they're portrayed,

In that case I guess he's not too much of one normally (although still a little bit) ,but I like messing with the idea of it being a Lovecraft Lite style reality warping thing that means kind of well but tends to have a skewed grasp on reality and be shown in a slightly more creepy light. I'm not sure how to pull it off, but I want to play with the idea of something that looks creepy as all heck and is portrayed as somewhat incomprehensible but mostly just sees you as a toy it doesn't want broken rather than the piece of sludge or corruption you'd assume such a thing would think of you as.

I'd need to get a better grasp of how to describe/write it, but I want to try a subverted horror thing.

No sir, I don't like it. It engaged me for awhile because the attacks were cool, but that novelty was short-lived and I was left with endless repetition. Plus the fact that teamwork is a big part of the plot yet all your teammates are useless in battle really rubbed me the wrong way. Once I discovered The Wonderful 101, which has much better combat and has gameplay that supports its teamwork theme extremely well, I quit playing Hyrule Warriors entirely.

I hope Legends' character switching system will allow for actual strategy, but realistically doubt that'll be the case.

When I played it I mashed that button for like 2 hours until a friend told me I could use other buttons to make combined attacks
....still I mashed X for another hour

Now I can use all buttons better so Im against the X spam

That's the problem with Dynasty Warriors games in general, and what makes then incredibly hit-or-miss. I can understand it doesn't appeal to everyone and I can understand your reasons for disliking it, but there are some who like it, and personally I'm part of the latter group. There's just something oddly gratifying about it.

That's another thing. I for one tend to clean all my consoles every month (or week, or even days depending on the situation) to prevent them from malfunctioning. But that's just me.

Well good luck for your avatar. Me, i haven't do a single draw since the begin of my holiday....I really have no idea or the passion to do it. It's really horrible...

Thanks I guess. Well, all I've been drawing for the past (not-so-few) months is my character, and it kind of gets boring as I have nothing else that can get to my mind, but hopefully I find a workaround to it soon.

That's not to say I'm going to replace the character with something else.. I just want to create a bunch of other stuff.

Well for me, it's the opposite. I have idea, but the problem is that i don't have the passion to do it. Or i known it's imposssible for me right now. And it's really frustrating, because. I have alot of character but the problem is that i haven't drawn all of them atleast once. And some design of my character keep changing or are really difficult to begin with. "Sigh"....This is i guess a curse for me. If only i have something that could be like so awesome that i would say.
"Oh man it's so awesome! I am going to do a draw for that!"
But for now, i can only dream and wait.... Anyway, i hope that all will be good for you.

Pipe Maze

A maze through warp pipes leading between 2 sub zones

I didn't get to do everything I wanted with the stage...I ran out of warp pipes

But, the way it's set up you have to collect a helmet, goomba boot, and P-Switch to win the stage

The stage has 2 P-Switches, both need to be used at specific spots in order to win

1 doesn't respawn if you mess up. Because if it did, the second one wouldn't be needed

I guess you can get off by X spam alone in Hyrule Warriors, but depending on the character and such, their X combo could just be downright unhelpful for the task at hand.

Then again I'm a biased fan of the game so. I am getting the 3DS one though if possible.

Hyrule Warriors and Dragon Quest Heroes are both great.

I gotta say, I really like the more methodical RPG elements of DQH though, it's great combining a team to overcome a swarm.

If Aryll and Medli appear playable on hyrule warrior for the 3ds then i would get the game.

Not sure about Aryll but the Earth/Wind Temple stage gives me hope for a Medli + Makar duo in the game.

My playthrough took about 8 hours, though I idle around a lot, so maybe 6-7 hours.

Though to see everything in the game, you need to play it twice.
