People like to think my character looks like Dark Matter from Kirby, but truth be told, and as I've said it lots of times already, I've never thought of the Kirby character when creating him. He was literally non-existent at the time. Sure, they both share similarities here and there, but will that make a big impact? I hope not.

You may get to think whatever you want, but this is the truth. I'm keeping the character no matter what.
It didn't come to mind instantly, but after a while it did come to me "Say, he looks kinda like Dark Matter's first form". The similarity is mostly the way his main body looks, along with wearing his outfit in a similar way.

I'm glad you're keeping him. His design is still great.

Is your character based off anything else then? Just curious.
Nope, I wouldn't go that far and outright copy someone else's work. The design literally came off my mind back in 2013.

Now that's terrible.

Apparently there's gonna be a sequel and Milly and Carver are gonna also be playable
It's almost as if Square Enix wants my money.

Now if they can just localize those 3DS DQ games...

I think i am really in a good way for my draw. This is the first time that i drawn this character but really, for now. I didn't screw it too much. (Of course there is little problem here and there but i will say it's not my priority.)

Well, just did my first drive with an instructor. My stops are kinda jerky, but apparently I turn better than most beginners.

Heheh.

One time I made a Sonic OC just to prove you could make one without it looking ultra-stupid. I might have to draw and share a picture sometime.

Speaking of drawing, my main problem seems to be that I make my lines too wobbly. Any tips for reducing line wobbliness while drawing with a mouse?

I wish there was a period of time after a prank terminates during which you can't be pranked again.
I'm seeing a lot more blue now, and I'm getting tired of the magenta. :(

Using a thicker brush reduces the effect. And then you can down-scale it.

Eh, what do I know. I've made very few drawings with a mouse.

Tell Neo Zero if you don't want to be pranked.

Yeah, I guess. It'd be hard to replace him with something else.
Hmm, you got those two right. Let's just say it's another Ravio-Nabbit issue... an unintentional coincidence at that.

I actually made that image with a mouse back in (very) early 2011. Of course, the Flight character has since been deprecated and I would much rather use Aspyr instead.

And what do you use to create images? Try holding Shift when pressing the left button of your mouse, although doing so will present you with limitations. Or just follow what FalKoopa FalKoopa said.

Buy a Graphics Tablet.

Mouses are obsolete in the face of a digital pen.

Funny how I originally considered getting the Bamboo Splash / Connect (the one shown in the picture) and went with the Capture instead. Turns out I had enough money to get it at the time. Was worth it.

I made one for that very reason two years back.

It was a dog. I lost the picture.

After years of procrastination, I finally went and deleted a **** ton of junk mail on my email account.

I had over 1,000 emails (yeah, I'm bad) and deleted over 600 of them.

Most of which were GameStop & Papa Johns (the latter I never bothered to unsubscribe for some reason).

Will delete more later.

While I was doing the test, the stupid instructors left the air conditioner on. I was turning into a human popsicle while trying to concentrate. And it wasn't like the instructors clueless to the whole thing. One of them said that they know it was cold (more like sub-zero :glare:) but they said it was better that way. How?!
I'm so upset.

Say hello to someone who has the time to save their allowance, do different seasonal jobs for my neighbors, and deliver mail weekly. Money can do you so much wonders if you can know how to save properly or have the energy to work for it.

Speaking of art, what's the difference between SAI and Photoshop? I hear both aren't that bad, but I wanted to know which one was better to use.
SAI:
+ Cheap
+ RAM-friendly
+ Tidier UI that's easy to grasp
+ Compatible with PS files
- Lacks layer and filter effects seen in Photoshop
- Lacks some basic tools other art programs have.

Photoshop:
+ Versatile set of tools and filter effects.
+ Customise brushes
+ Does everything SAI does and more.
- Large UI and range of tools doesn't provide a flowing workflow like with SAI.
- Expensive (you're better of finding a pirated version if you can.)
- High RAM Usage (if you're working with a large PS file size)

There are other popular art programs than these that you can try, such as Manga Studio and Sketchbook Pro.

I'm not good at explaining stuff, but Photoshop is more about photo manipulation whereas SAI is strictly focused on all kinds of drawings. The latter is a lot cheaper, and has a greater array of features for artists. SAI is extremely lightweight, something you don't see in applications nowadays, so it doesn't take up your whole memory space. It also recognizes .PSD files (those used in Photoshop). From my own experience, Photoshop lags a lot whenever I want to use the brush tool for example, but I think that's just me. In comparison, Photoshop is overpriced, has customizable brushes, isn't really designed for art (in my opinion), but it does give you a huge amount of effects to make your pictures look great.

I watched most of the Democratic debate last night. Sanders is totally brown-nosing to be Clinton's running mate.

Guys I survived the PSAT! It felt like an eternity but I made it. I feel so cold...:(
I remember taking that thing last year. It went pretty well. It didn't prepare me for the SAT at all though. I did quite well on the test, but that stupid essay question can rot in hell. I was so unprepared for that.

I swear if you say it was in an Auditorium and this is Homecoming week I will be near fully convinced you go to my school.

And that would just be a mindblow.

Well here it is! One of the character of my original fiction, Marsa! I want just to say that, i known there is some problem in it. Like with the leg and the feet. But really, i didn't want to erase all and that it look even more bad after. Also, it's been some time since i have do a draw. So please understand, but less bla bla. Here the draw!

If there isn't a screen, I can't tell what I'm doing. If a 3DS style tablet comes out, let me know, but until then it's the mouse for me.

Mine's a pangolin. :)

I use Manga Studio. I'm too stupid to know most of the features, but I love it just for having layers and a color wheel.

MS Paint can now officially suck it.

*Edit* OH, and the ability to change the canvas size fairly easily. It makes spriting much more doable.

You can get a Surface 3 (non-Pro) with its pen if you were to have the money necessary to purchase it. That'd be my top choice because I couldn't care less if it's extremely powerful or not. Or if you want, get a Cintiq, but it's way too expensive. The feeling of not drawing directly on the screen (talking about tablets like the aforementioned Bamboo Capture and Splash / Connect, and the larger Create)* is weird at first, but I assure you, it grows on the user days after using the device.

*But all three tablets have since been replaced by consumer-oriented Intuos tablets. The "original" Intuos tablets have been renamed to Intuos Pro.
