Yep. I'm not 100% against it. In fact, I'm cool with the idea / proposal or whatever it is. All I'm saying is, if it were to take effect, I would still be more active in this site compared to the application.

i'd probably stay active in both, if possible. i like this site a lot, but at the same time its easier to log on skype sometimes if im only on phone or something.

Look, this whole Skype thing is just an idea. In fact, I'm pretty sure it won't even get enough momentum, and the subject will dissolve by the morning. Everyone needs to chill. In my opinion, I think it's an interesting idea. However, this is my ground zero, and I can bet my bottom dollar no ones leaving the SBoards.

Not really any more difficult than the mod system we have here. Which would be, admittedly, difficult to start up.
Besides, just like there are board-specific mods, there can be irc-specific mods.
And mods aren't in this thread 24/7 :P

However, having it can create a divide between those that use it and those that don't or are new to the site, it can create a clique like divide as I said, and I just think personally it'd be best to have the social thread continue to be what it is, a place for all users who like Smash (4 in particular in this forum) to talk, hang out and get to know each other in a safe fun environment.

You should make your language more accurate if that's the case.
Before, you made it sound like you believed that IRCs were objectively bad forms of communication, and therefore shouldn't be used, rather than that you didn't like them.

Not only new users may get lost and feel the division and pressure that the Skype means:
-Using that program can make some computers struggle and not everybody has a nice Intel i7 or Smartphone causing them to get lost too
-The language barrier will feel more, some users know how to write english but not to talk it properly like me... I barely talk spanish good too

If people want to do it anyway, well do it, Im just saying my opinion

he made a sakurai account in JP (was banned) as alt and.....to my expereince was quite funny (he was creeped out by my paper mario stuff ).

He actually admitted (lol) to be an alt so he got banned.

After, he made another account, followed me and freaking said to love paper mario, then got banned because mods got it.

That guys still follows me it's @Richter Belmont the hero! btw
