It's well past the point of bringing the whole discussion up again by now, but to put it bluntly, this kind of behavior is not tolerated at all.

Granted, the thread going about its usual course isn't necessarily people being a "circlejerk" (incidentally, also not allowed. People can have whatever opinion they want. But singling people out for any reason (baiting, plain and simple), well-intention or not, falls under harassment. Furthermore, it's not just whoever started it that is guilty at that point. Anyone continuing to reply to said baiting is held equally accountable. Doesn't matter what the reason (pointing out someone is breaking the rules/actual derailing the thread, etc.).

Per request, I removed the original comment that sparked it, as well as anyone that continued it on from there. Now since I'm such a wonderful person, I'm telling people here that this is their freebie. Anything like this happens again will be met with warnings/infractions, accordingly. If anyone sees and/or has a problem with any behavior like this in the future, please use the report button and don't get involved or continue to derail the thread (ignore, move on, "come back after things calm down," whatever floats your boat).

tl;dr - Report/ignore buttons exist, no b8ing/taking matters into your own hands or continuing/replying to ****posts (or making fun of things like depression), Final Destination.
