If this was their way of improving Zygarde, they should've spent more time designing it. Also keeping mind... they re-used the Green Blob cell pokemon concept from the Reuniclus line.

I do agree that it's an odd choice as a design for Zygarde, but that isn't important. What's important is that IT IS A MOTHER****ING DRAGON DOBERMAN WHY AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO LOVES THAT!?

By myth do you mean the Dragonball series?

Think about it. They're both born from infant, cellular forms. They grow in power as they "evolve" and change forms/appearances (hence the 10%/50% forms.) They're both green.

God dammit, even their finals forms are nicknamed PERFECT (Perfect Cell and Perfect-Zygrade).

I think Zygarde's forms are based on Norse mythology. The dog is Fenrir, normal Zygarde is Jormungand and the big thing must be Hel. And I guess the core is Loki, who's the father of the three aforementioned Gods.
