I remember 9/11 as I was in third grade, so I was about seven. I remember it mostly because a girl in my class had a father that perished in the attack. The rest of the year was extremely awkward because she became depressed, and by depressed, I mean; she was a raging ***** for the rest of the school year.

I don't think a death is a good excuse to become a raging *****. I understood she was sad but really?

It was not a really good excuse to me either, I mostly ignored her (sat on the other side of the classroom). But most people were understanding about it and tolerated the way she acted. They tried to be nice, tried to be her friend, etc. I felt bad, but at the same time, "ain't nobody got time fo dat!"
