GCN are hard to get in the UK right now... so 3rd part is the current option but

I got Smash 4 for like £59.99 when i brought it as a Christmas present.

I could care less about outdated controllers, so I bought the game only.

it does work on pc though which for me I would buy ALONE because of it (even on linux).

it;s just the sticks + buttons sizes and grip......too good :)

Plus, I use dolphin and playing TTYD with this is x9000 (lol) better than a keyboard ESPECIALLY since some abilities requires to spin a stick (and spinning keyboards arrow......it hurts my finger :( ).

So, I just love it :)

I play Melee on a keyboard... really...

OK. I have been thinking about getting a 3rd party GCN adapter (Both Win and Wii U) for Melee Netplay on Dolphin...


Is it really good?

I mean, sure, it's probably the best controller ever made (?), but I have a tendency of sticking to the latest. I find Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U to be clunky when played on such kind of thing. I guess it's just buffering.

I'd only buy one to play Melee on Dolphin.. sounds contradictory, but that's the only way I'd use it.

if you can get the first party msrp.....you should get it because dolphin has its own driver for it (idk if it does work for third party one). Also, said driver ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO ME BECAUSE FREAKING IOPENGL DRIVE BEING ONLY 3.3 AND I NEED 4.3 :(

But you should have no problem and let me be honest.: idk hoe you can even play 5 minutes of ssbm on a keyboard, but using a gc controller......look it's just worth it....

I use to play Super Smash Flash 2 on a keyboard. While I was great using it, I later switched to a controller and never went back.

Playing Melee on a keyboard is the best worst thing you could ever do... TBH it makes dashdancing much easier though.

It is really to do... Rapidly go back and fourth on the control stick or arrow keys.
