Well, today I had an alarm and my DS programmed to wake me up. My DS at 5:00 Am and my phone to wake me up at 5:00 Am and 5:25 Am to be up before 5:30 Am.

I heard them, and i guess I turned them off, as habit. I remember hearing them and I turned them off. I was just so **** annoyed by them.

Like I hear them and it's just an annoyance that I have to turn off to get back to sleep. They were interrupting me.

Then, I miss 5:30. OH SHEE. I say "Why the **** didn't my alarms wake me?!?!?!?!"

Then I remembered that they did, I just didn't know WHY they waked me. If I knew why I'd get up ASAP.

: [

It's been happening often. : [

Today I didn't even remember if I did turn them off.

And I do beat myself up for not getting up on time. How could I wake up effectively for work?

I have even given my father the wrong pills when I awoke! (I mean I gave him his after noon pills in the morning) ;-;

Be a man, wake up on the first ring and power through your morning like a champion. Real men take their mornings black and blue.

Hahaha, it happend to me a quite a number of times! You wake up late and are all "WTF, did my alarm go off?" If you're lucky you'll remember that it indeed went off and you kind of "slept walked" to turn them off. Sometimes you even sleep right through them! But yeah, it takes a bit of willpower to just jump out of bed in the morning at the first sign of your alarm clock.

When an alarm clock wakes me up, I'll usually unplug it and go back to sleep. XD

Now I set the tv to turn on, and because I put the tv and remote across the room, I have to get up and turn it off.

I wouldn't recommend posting threads that are similar in nature to blogs.

As sad as it is that blogs are out of commission right now, Pool Room still isn't to be used as a substitute. Don't forget that guys, Pool Room is a different place.

I'd say stop using alarms altogether.

If you go to sleep knowing that only you can wake yourself up, your subconscious will wake you up exactly when you want.

Well it works for me anyway.

I always wake up 2 minutes before my alarm goes off. But I don't want to risk missing a class because I turned the alarm off.

I'd agree with this. Multiple alarms over the one is even worse. You know that when you hear the first alarm, you'll think you'll go back to sleep and wake up for the next one. With a single alarm you're in the mindset that you NEED to get up when you hear the alarm.

It's more like I have like three alarms up because I know I might want to ignore the first two.

i think this is a sleep discussion not a blog.

i had trouble with sleep paralysis in the past.. i would wake up and not be able to move and everything felt scary.

Correct. I want to discuss about sleep, it's quite an interesting topic.

Yeah... ;-;

I woke up and my left arm was like... still asleep. It took a long while before it would wake up.

What I find that works is having a television remote right next to me to turn on my tv right when my alarm clock goes off. I'm someone that struggles to wake up right away; therefore I turn on my television and watch MTV or VH1 music videos to get my attention. After about 5-10 minutes of watching music videos I'm alert enough to get up and do what I need to.

Cleveland, Ohio! my homeplace but for now living i
in the dorm i put my alarm in the living room so that im forced to wake up and get it by then ive walked the length where my legs are offically on.
though i have had problems going to sleep
ill use the tvs light to lull me to sleep (works sometimes) but need a more effective method
counting sheep would work except that the induced sleep happens at a rate thats WAY too fast and it scares the **** outta me to where i panic and wake up.
