Well...

You should practice SH Dair with no lag. If you dair too much without the no lag, then your gonna be punished if they powershield.
Also, try to avoid using skull bash against ROB, since he can easily counter it, so use QAC for more safety.

Keep in mind that ROBs arent that great if the opponent is under him. So using utilt and usmash to put him in the air and punishing/comboing from there is recommended. When approaching, do not always fair since it can be easily shield grabbed.

I just noticed, but all those times you did dsmash, you could have done utilt.

My opinion is to be less predictable, becuase I could already tell what move you would do next. And work on those thunder kills, it will give you early kills and whatnot.

Ok, I'm going to reference the match against toon link.

At first you didn't use QAC at all, then about 2 minutes in it seems like you only wanted to approach with QAC. After about 30 seconds of that, you decided not to use it again. My suggestion would be to mix it up more and keep your opponent guessing at how you are going to approach.

Another thing versus Tink, you stayed too far away from him. I know you like to use tjolt, but he has more projectiles than you and can play a better long range game. You should fight him up close and personal. Nearly every time I saw you get him up close, you did much better.

Just something I noted, you need to use fastfall fair more. It can be a great approach.

Everything else looked good about your Pikachu that I can note. Overall, I would just mix it up more.

:( am I not good enough to be considered a EC pika player??
So my bad... i couldn't get everybodies locations before i had monkey kungfu and class. I hear you're amazing too. I saw the Ike match tho somewhere.... your Ike when 'in the zone' hits like a truck.

THanks for the help guys. If it's alright could any of you refer me to correlating matches (i.e. another pika, or your own vid, versus Toon Link or someone) so i could get a visual grasp. Just when it comes to anyone's mind tho... dont want to be a burden.

Thanks.

Critique on match 1:

You used fair a total of 5 times (I counted seriously). THAT'S NOT ENOUGH TIMES!!! Fair is soooooo great at shield poking, always try to fair and land behind the person too so it doesn't get shield grabbed. If you watch my matches with KLo, I get shield poked by Pikachu's fair idk how many times it got annoying  ROB is a tall character so he can be poked the same way.

Building up on fair, you used aerials about 15% of the time. Not a good idea in general, you want to mix it up and not only rely on just Pikachu's ground game. But I did not see a single tilt in your match. Don't waste you time with your smashes at a low %, use tilts for comboing! never use fsmash unless its a sure hit cause 20% is a nice amount to add on. But mainly use dtilt for your ranged attack. Its even faster and trips. I don't know why you didn't use utilt, its amazing cause you can follow up with uair, usmash, nair, or even thunder at higher %s.

You had a nice thunder kill for the 2nd stock.

Crititue match 2:

You fsmash way too much. I don't know why ROB didn't punish your fsmash with nairs. Its too easy for ROB to nair you while you do fsmash too. Besides you hit with fsmash only ONCE out of the 15 times (make up number) you did it.

You are mindlessly spamming tjolt. Each tjolt needs a reason to be fired. You have to have a purpose otherwise you're gonna eat a laser from ROB. ROB can easily out camp Pikachu, so make sure the tjolt is only a decoy or feint. You want to capitalize on reaction to tjolt not actually damage someone with it.

Pika?
The main thing that i noticed was that you don't play fast at all. When you are being aggressive, its a passive aggressive and you are never QAing everywhere to confuse your opponent or pressure them. You seem content to just get 1 hit here and there and play a passive defensive and passive aggressive. When you switch your styles between defensive and aggressive, you should make a COMPLETE jump from them so you can overwhelm your opponent and mess with their psyche. When you are on the aggressive, mix it up with tilts, comboes, and aerials. Also, i saw you used D-smash A LOT. Try not using it as much...it really isn't as good as everybody makes it out to be. Try using D-tilts and u-tilts instead.

I enjoyed your videos, although it's tragic to see a good Pikachu lose.
You could increase your win chances phenomenally by using t-jolts and fair more often.
And... substitute more u-tilts for d-smashes.
