Siegfried for Brawl!

Siegfried Schtauffen from the Soul Calibur series should be in Brawl as one of the third-party characters. Think about it. He was in Soul Calibur II (even if he was only an alternate costume for Nightmare) and he's in the Wii-exclusive Soul Calibur Legends. Those of you who are negative...look him up on Google Images. Look at the size of his sword and maybe you'll reconsider.

If anyone from Soul Caliber were to be chosen to be in Brawl. I am pretty sure it would be Nightmare. I don't remember any one from the series as much as him.. Well actually I know Kilik, Ivy.. and that weird dude.

But I think Nightmare would be the best choice. And even then.. I don't know. I don't hear much of anyone from Soul Caliber supporters.

As awesome as Siegfried is, do you think he'd fit in Brawl? I'm all for it though, I just don't think they're going to add him to the roster.

Mitsurugi is the person I would expect from SC, as I think they would start out with a hero first, and he's been around since the begining, unlike Nightmare.

The topic is about Siegfried, not Nightmare. Siegfried is a hero, and he's been around since the beginning too.

Pac-Man would get in before anyone from Soul Calibur though, since he's Namco's mascot.

From all the characters of the soul calibur series I always liked Ive the most. Well, Siegfried is pretty cool, too. ( I like his huge sword). But I think that the chars from Soul Calibur wouldn't really fit into brawl.

Well I've seen plenty of people elsewhere asking for Cloud in Brawl. This is a character with a massive sword who's on Nintendo. He's appearing in a Wii-exclusive game, so forgive me for thinking he has a reasonable chance.

If by some strange happening we get a SC character, it'll be Siegfried. He IS the main character of the series.

Anywho, Nightmare would be an obvious choice, but I think his appearence is a bit too harsh for a smash bros game. Not to mention his sword! It'll scare the children away!

Cassandra/Sophitia are the only other two I can see making it into Brawl since they aren't as gruesome or skanky like the other characters. Maybe.... Kilik?

But still, Siegfried is a very good choice. And his massive sword will provide a different style of gameplay. And he actually uses his fists, legs, and head to attack opponents. So unlike Marth he'll actually use attacks other than his sword.

I'll have to wait until Soul Calibur Legends comes out for suggestions on his moves, since that will be his main Nintendo game. But any other suggestions...feel free.

His Final Smash, however, could be called Soul Calibur. Siegfried's sword changes to Soul Calibur and then he fights with it for a short time (kind of like Bowser's Giga Bowser Transformation). Soul Calibur would do A LOT more damage and be A LOT faster.

Don't double post Oni. And maybe, but Ivy is more familar to the series, they both made their appearances in Soul Calibur, not Soul Edge, which was the first one.

Siegfried is a heavier swordsman. His sword is Cloud sized!

As much as I love Seigfried(Nightmare) and use him in SCII the most. I say no to this. Seigfried wouldn't look right in the Smash Bros. world (nor would Cloud). My personal opinion would to use one of the female characters instead. I would say either Xianghua or Talim would be the best choice.

And if we really want a heavier swordsman, I second Ganondorf and The Black Knight.
