Why is double team banned?

I know it can be annoying but theres strategies aginst those pokemon. Haze or aura sphere etc

It only adds more hax to Pokemon.

Let's say you have a... I dunno, Weaile for example. If he gets off 1 Double Team, he could potentially dodge every single attack. With just 1. Of course, you could try to use Aura Sphere to kill him, but outspeeding Weavile is hard, same goes for Haze, Roar, etc.

Now, take Garchomp. Give him Double Team, Bright Powder, and Tyranitar support...

Not every Pokemon has a -- accuracy(always hits) move or haze. Most who do are usually UU or don't have the power to use it(not to mention that those attacks, excluding Aura Sphere which only has about 3 non-ubers learning it, are pathetically weak). If Double team was legalized, a Scarfed Lucario or something to that extent would need to be on every team. Also, ghost types. [/rant]
