Looks like Roy and Ryu were legit.
Ryu looks pretty good (though I prefer Wright and Ammy) and I need to see Roy... but I am skeptical that he will be another Marth.

A good point that was raised is that Marth changed a bit from the Melee days, so even if Roy plays like he used to, he's probably going to be fairly different from Marth now.

Ryu's hella hype; I actually might consider adding him to one of my secondaries. Roy though...ehhhhhh, I love FE, but even I think 5 FE reps (AND it looks like he's still very similar to Marth?) is a bit much. Oh well, I have a new punching bag at least. :3

That's confirmed to not be a special, presumably it's a side smash. Down Special is some mechanic that could give you super armour

So I was watching the comments on Zero's last videos and I found a lot of players saying that we suck against projectiles spammers like Rob or Samus. At first I thought to reply to them trying to explain why we are not (lol Jump and Speed), but then I realised it wasn't even worth trying. They all said they were "pretty good Shulk main" lol.

Ryu's Focus Attack will likely have an interesting form of armour that's only good for one hit no matter the strength. Will it be unblockable at full charge? I've heard it crumples, which I believe is a new status effect for Smash. Does that mean Ryu alone forced the developers to make crumpling animations for every character?

Most importantly, will he be able to dash/roll out of it?

The mind boggles.

I actually think Ryu's Focus Attack will be able to soak up however many hits it can until fully charged, or let go. That's how it worked for C.Viper in MVC3.
