I would also like to say..... Xenoblade X may very well beat OoT/MM/WW as my favorite game of all time. Takahashi has talked about making Xenoblade Chronicles well rounded, as many RPG's only were good in only a few ways or another. We have seen this pulled off marvelously well, as I have heard many, many different reasons as to why people like this game. People loved the world, the characters, the story, the gameplay, the design, the side quests, the exploration, the atmosphere, ect....
I think it is safe to say that Xenoblade X blows that ideal out of the water. Not only do we have the world, sidequests, story(granted, we don't know much about the story, yet the prequel short stories tell us that it will be well thought out and amazing), combat, design, monsters, world, exploration, atmosphere ect, being vastly, vastly improved. We also have new things to add to this entire mix. You have customization found in many Bethesda games, you have grinding and strategy like monster hunter(as far as armor/weapons are involved), you have meaningful side quests like MM, you have Animal Crossing-esque looks and designs(in which you customize your character and your dolls. I myself will be rocking my trusty friend, Ganondoll with red hair, green face, and a black body with hints of orange, and red), you have amazing flying like Pilotwings, Mariokart-like fun with driving(I think it would be amazing if you could set up voluntary races with your friends), wave-race like water skiing, a huge bustling city similar to GTA. Not only do we have all of this in a 300 hour single player campaign, we have an online system that is equally as robust. We have a way to all stay in touch, fun things like using each other's cross. Seriously it would be amazing if this board could all be together, and we can do that! We also not only have online multiplayer, but different types! Want to kill a ton of monsters on foot? There you go. Want to go full on doll? There you go. Do you want to brave super powerful monsters with experienced friends, there you go! Not only is the multiplayer very nice, it acts completely different from single player while keeping the core mechanics and having them be two separate entities. The main complaint I have with MH is that there is no point to playing by yourself. Other games feel as if online is tacked on. Xenoblade X offers two amazing, yet different, experiences.
I really cannot wait to play with you guys, and by myself. I am also going to have to force my closest friend to play it as well.
My only complaint? Why can't we get this game sooner while Japan gets to play this masterpiece?
