For each of the singles events, do the math to determine what the payout would be in each instance (top 4, 6 and 8). Generally with most tourneys, the people who barely made it into the money essentially make enough to get their entry fee back and then some. If you were doing top 8, people who finished 7th would get somewhere between $10-20, maybe a bit more.

I'm not a TO so definitely don't take my word on this lol

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let everyone know we officially have 300 people preregistered, and are no longer accepting registrations.

If you were hoping to sign up and didn't get a chance to, don't worry- we are sending out confirmation emails and expect a handful of slots to open up. Stay posted in this event or on www.smashboards.com for more info.

Really blown away by the support- last year we had 108 entrants, and this year we have tripled in size (still two weeks out from the venue!) Looks like Shuffle 6 will need a bigger venue.

With 300 people and a minimum venue fee of 10 dollars, that means we are donating at least $3,000 to Nationwide Children's Hospital which is pretty awesome!

Sorry to you and everyone else who didn't get in. Sadly we are limited by venue size- I wish we could have more people!

A certain number of spots will inevitably open as people back out so all I can say is stay tuned.

Also, if anyone registered and knows they CAN NOT go please have them email me immediately so I can remove them from the list and give the spot to someone whow ould like to come.

Please do not email me asking to be added- I will not be adding anyone, no exceptions. If I give you special treatment I would have to give it to everyone.

The size of the event has lead me to rethink the prize money, and singles has been changed as following. Doubles has NOT been changed.

Singles Payout
1st place: 50% of respective entry fees
2nd place: 25%
3rd place: 11%
4th place: 6%
5th place: 2.5%
6th place: 2.5%
7th place: 1.5%
8th place: 1.5%

TOTAL PAYOUT: 100%
