@Youko

The roundtable idea is great. You should definately get more than two people talking about topics at a time though, and next time, feel free to interrupt each other midway if there's something you're just itching to say. (Make it feel radio DJ-ish ;)) I'd like to be a part of that~

While it sounds like a really good idea, it's hard to pull off. Especially when, with what we're using, when you say something at the same time somebody else is talking it gets echoed right back at you. It's very disrupting, but we're trying our best! :)

Unless you're using headset mics, and using one of those conference chat clients that lets you chat with multiple people at one time without much inteference and lag. You're doing your best :)

Dear Youko,

Marry me.

Yours forever,

Takun

...But really, that song at the end was a-freaking-dorable. Though I suggest you invest in a better mic or whatever is causing that fuzz. Once you fix that, release an album or two.

Now to the actual SMYN stuff...

Somehow you managed to take the WORST week yet (in my opinion) and turn it into the BEST SMYN to date. Your voice was great, Samurai Panda's Voice was great and so was Lee Jordyns...or who I believed to be Lee Jordyn...whoever it was that sent in the BV. You all did a great job and I think the round table was a huge success, so keep that up.

My favourite part was when Lee accidentally said PCP instead of PED.
24k Gold right there.

I love the new remix of the Brawl Theme Song as the new SMYN theme. The Round Table was great, and I look forward to future ones. This is probably my new favorite out of the 13 episodes so far (I agree with takun; when I saw how horrible the updates were this week, I expected this episode to be dull, but boy was I wrong). Season 2 kicked off with a bang; keep it up!

Thanks for airing my Question. I guess I'm on the record-books as the first question asked and answered on the Round Table section. I'd love to contribute more if possible. Great job

I sent you SMYN a viewpoint just now, but I sent it to the Dojo gmail address. Was that the right one?
Keep up the good work.

Well, youko, here's that newcomer!

You should have Samuraipanda on mailbag, too (only if like none of the questions are voiced or are boring)

Also, great easteregg! give us a dl for it!

What?! I missed the House Premiere? SHOOT. I'll be adding to this post as I listen to the Podcast.

Freaking AWESOME New theme. Props to anyone who made it. It seriously got me excited - A wonderful change. Nice Resseti, nice to hear. Why do we keep on saying the veterans have all returned, we may have the F-Zero logo and the Earthbound, but Ness may still be replaced...
I know it isn't the time for it, but I so totally called it the day before. Looks like we have one thing that the RunDown will have to focus on - especially the chance that he is with Ness on this one, and not taking his place. I can't wait for the Roundtable either, and as an afterthought, why not integrate it with Mailtime?

Samuri Panda is more or less my favorite person on the boards, but I do NOT think that he should be in Mailtime. That would take away from the awesomness that is The Roundtable. Is there anone else who lives in the Michigan area?

I'm all caught up with the exception of last nights episode. Bravo boys, bravo...

I set out last night with the decision that I'd listen to one a night untill I was caught up but with the help of no homework, and two studyhalls, I was able to knock out all of the ones avaliable on iTunes.

Also, I noticed alot of mention on how listenable Youko's voice is. While I'll admit there is a promising future in delivering the evening news waiting just around the corner, I believe Sariku win's the awesome podcast personality award here. Love what you're doing guys. You don't even know how much people appreciate this. Alot of my friends are going to download it tonight as I gave them the rundown on the whole operation.

I won an award..? Wow, this is like, the first time in my life. I'm so excited! -throws a party-

What do you mean by Personality award though? Lulz, xD.

-------------------------------------- PANDA! --------------------------------------

Samorai, thanks for the mention. And what was cool, you sounded believable. Some people said that to me, but I could tell they just wanted to make me feel good. The first two episodes stunk, Who's In, not Show Me Your News! Espicially the first, it really... it didn't deserve to be played, xD.

I really liked you two in this, Youko, just get your voice Clearer >.< Maybe I'll be able to join you two sometime, though it might sound weird with two mature voices next to my squeeky one >.<

Well, people who speak on the radio as part of a show are known as Radio Personalities. Sariku=An Awesome Podcast Personality. And yes, their voices are pretty mature. Once I get a mic I'll submit some stuff, but alas, my last one is broken.

EDIT: Doesn't Roy have a spike? I thought his spike was similar to Marths in the sense that since Marth's tip is his sweet spot, only the tip spikes, and with Roy, since the shaft of his sword is the sweetspot(...) the shaft spikes them.

So my voice is awesome, or I just make a good host? Lulz.

Roy accually does have a Spike. While Marth has two, his Smash B, Dolphin Dance? On the third command, go down. It's a spike. Plus his DAir. Roy on the other hand, on his Smash B, go Up on the Third command for the spike.

Yes, both. Well in the round table whilst discussing the fact that not all characters had a meteor/spike Roy is mentioned as not having one. Sorry. I'm splitting hairs here.

But the song at the end is ridiculously awesome. I'm very, very impressed.

Yeah Samurai messed up with that, but it's a simple mistake. I made one or two mistakes also, xD

Yeah, I'll bite my toungue. I've heard a couple, nothing life changing.

Do you listen to the podcasts yourself? It must feel wierd to hear yourself, right? I'd imagine it'd be wierd to hear myself. I hope this doesn't sound like an insult or anything..because I don't mean anything, I'm just curious.

I got my fave episodes on my iPod. Sadly, most of the great episodes have me in it. (I don't think it's great because I'm in it though, lulz.) But stuff like Colbusman's Brawl Viewpoint, the best one next to Samurai Pandas.

Whenever I'm on I usually just Fast Forward through myself, otherwise I try really hard to ignore it.

You should ask Youko this though, lulz.

I dunno. Who's In was definitely my favorite section. I remember back in the summer, before the great Brawl Forum-Reshuffle happened and I frequented the thread [*Whats going on at smashbros.com?*] and would be up all night with the Dawn Patrol arguing about characters chances of inclusion, while waiting for the update. It was good to hear some rationale behind the hopefuls.

No, I knew about Roy's 3rd forward B spike. I threw Roy in as an example because I don't quite consider that a spike. I've watched videos of the best Roy players in the world, and none of them use it. Why? Because its nearly impossible to land. So I guess that was just me being picky and not counting Roy's "spike" as an official, plausible spike.

I guess Doc, Bowser, or some other characters might've worked better as an example, but Roy stood out in my mind since I've had alot of discussions about his spike (or rather, his lack of a true one).

You should of used one of them, though Peach has a type of Spike. I think it's a Spike anyways, her Forward A in the Air.

really? i always liked my third-party one the best. i really only did that one cause no one has done it before and i found it an interesting topic
Your Third Party one is what made me think you was 13. No offense, but how I read you on the forums I think a kid about my age. The third party argument felt sorta copy/paste if you ask me, but that's how Who's In was for a while, so I have no room to talk. But your Special Techniques, that went into alot of detail, which I really like.

Her forward A isn't a spike. I removed her because I recalled that doing her down smash on someone coming up to the ledge from the bottom acts similarly to a spike.

I know too much about smash :/

Anyways, time to study.

No worries bud,
and I would have to say Scav is up there too.
-grateful for add to buddy lsit-
From what I get about Personality, Scav is amazing. While I only heard the first SmashCast... still. I'm still above, right? LMAO, xD.

And Samurai, you're probably right, I dont know nearly as much as you, but I know quite a bit about Brawl in General. Then again, you MADE the thread were some of my info comes from, you have me 1 Uped.
