Well, Megaman 1 for the VC was supposed to come out last Monday.
Look what happened there.

I'm not believing that a VC/WiiWare game is actually coming out on a certain date until it comes out on that date.

I know for sure that it's coming today; this one's coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Also, you're probably right about it being a problem with my comp, Youko. I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong myself...

...You do realize that in the case of Homestar Runner products, like the Strong Bad game in question, "the horse's mouth" would mean the creators - the Bros. Chaps, right? The announcement is on their site, and it's not just for WiiWare, but for PC as well.

I plan on playing some Metroid Prime 3 today, but I don't know when. I guess I'll let you guys know when that happens so you can check Stickam.

Yay, more Stickam. Hopefully I'll be able to post again, but at least I'll be able to watch it. That Ranma 1/2 commercial at the end of last night's Stickam event was hilarious. Note: I am a fan of the manga.

In this case, "the horse's mouth" refers to the Bros. Chaps, Telltale, AND Nintendo. There's no way all three of them could be wrong...

Also, yay for Stickam! I'll see if I can join in later...

Nintendo is the only one of those three that matters.

Capcom themselves said Megaman on VC.
Nintendo didn't put it up.

Yeah, our biggest problem is the lack of exposure. I know for a fact that there are a lot of listeners who don't visit this thread (I was one of them once), so they have no way of knowing that the site even exists. It's too bad, really.

Hey, Youko, if it's not too much trouble, could you mention the fansite in the next episode of the podcast? The more traffic we can build up, the better...

This is definetaly necessary if the fansite and the forums are to surivive. That's the only way to ensure that all SMYN listeners know about the site and forums.

Hey, Youko! Can you tell Samurai Panda that he has put me in a state of severe depression that lasted about a week? All because he told me I wasn't an anime fan if I didn't watch Neon Genesis Evangelion (forget the SMYN episode). I finally watched all of it. Thankfully, I'm back to normal now and not suffering any lasting trauma...

Now you have to watch End of Evangelion and the Rebuild movies, both of which have different endings. Let the confusion continue!

Just finished SBCG4AP episode 1; HIGHLY recommended, especially for H*R fans like Youko and Panda. I'd recommend getting the PC version over the WiiWare version, as you'll save $15 in the end, plus you'll get a free DVD featuring all five episodes after they've all been released.

I agree it was so good. But wait I didn't know that about the PC version:(. Ah well looks like im spending an extra $15.

Again, the time thing is an issue. Two summer classes isn't that difficult, its just time consuming.

Correction, two summer classes and an assload of smash.

EDIT: OMG I want to audition for that Yu-Gi-Oh fan dub! That would be awesome :D

I say go for it. The auditions are open until the 28th, so just record entries for as many characters as you can do without permanently damaging your vocal chords. ^_^
