I'm practicing to be a V.A. (as a back up to my intended career). As such, I must issue an official challenge. You... I mean Y-ko. You, me, demon off!

This is what they were talking about, guys:

Personally, to me, those do NOT seem like extended sleeves. So I can understand why people feel those are the power-ups.
That's weird, but it isn't that different from the folded ends of his sleeves normally:

Maybe they unfold while he dashes or something? I have an extremely hard time believing that there are costume updates as you progress through SSE.

You people don't read. It's Wayko.

Cool kids didn't start with DBZ. Cool kids' first anime was Speed Racer and the such when they were 5 and were watching it on Cartoon Network. That's how hardcore cool kids are.

Wonderful mystery guest, he had such a familiar voice that brought back memories of happier times.

I guess I'm a hardcore cool kid then... Speed Racer and Sailor Moon all the way.

I love pokemon, but I DID NOT think catching enemies was like pokemon. There are many games where you have to catch your enemies in some way. Not saying this is the main point to the games.

Thinking catching enemies is like catching pokemon is like saying Naruto came up with ninjas.

Well, God of War isn't the first game to power up your weapons with nondescript red orbs either. I think Onimusha was the first 3d one. There may have been 2d ones before it though.

People associate it with whatever popularized the concept.

Thank you to those who agree with Wayko that PTI is the greatest sports-related show out there.

Amazingly, I concur as well. Go figure!

Oh yes, EDIT:

PART THREE IS BLOGGED!!

Who said anything about Costume updates. Those do not look like they belong on Fox. They just seem to be items to me, but, as I said, I can understand why people woulld think those are the power-ups.

1: They are a totally different color from his sleeves.

2: Do you see in the picture above where his cuffs start, a bit below his elbow, right? Those are some SUPER long cuffs then if they're starting just above his elbow (mind you the ones in the first pick started just below them) and rolling all the way down to his hands, all the while being thicker than his actual sleeve.

Rayquaza broke his arms and Diddy made makeshift casts, but it's really useless to speculate about such a crappy picture.

Visual evidence, note that in that image of Fox running you can see the fur on his arms.

Whereas you can't here

True, the original performances are almost always better than the dub (though there are some fantastic dubs out there if you know where to look), but I have to say that the Death Note dub conveyed the awesomeness of the potato chip scene far better than the original...

But that's just IMO. ;)
Death Note on Adult Swim is the only dubbed anime worth watching. I only stopped watching because it's only on once a week, and frankly, that isn't enough for me. I watched the whole series on the internet.

One of the voice actors on the (awful) dub of Naruto voices Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2. It just sounds weird.

I think the only good English dub of anime that I liked was Dragonball Z, and even that was bad at parts. Maybe if you discount some of the newer sagas it's okay.

Well, English VAs in general usually aren't of the quality of Japanese VAs. Really, some Japanese VAs are ridiculous. Also, some shows lend themselves more easily to be dubbed than others.

See what you did, Panda? Forcing all the anime fans to come out of the woodwork like that.

I'm a hardcore DB fanboy, and I have to agree. The English dub of DBZ/GT was trash. Unfortunately, I want the series on DVD, so I'm forced to buy all of the widescreen Season sets...I'll stop when Brawl comes out.

I had a dream yesterday where Ganondorf and Knuckles were fighting on Battlefield. **** you rumour starters!

I had fun listening to this week's 3rd podcast. I hope they bring up the comments made on the Japanese Smash Board for part 4. Also, they found another Fire Emblem AT who happens to be a generic Pegasus Knight from what was said on another thread. Those Japanese have the technology and the reputation to videotape Jump Festa and yet they didn't. They all do like to gossip like grandmothers though lmao. ;p

Sorry, if that sounds prejudice in a way. Its not suppose to be offensive in any way.

For the record, I've heard that the security was FAR stricter than there was at E for All, so that's why we've seen so little videos sneak out...

Are you talking about JumpFesta? If so, I would assume the security is stricter. It is Japan, after all, and they take their video games seriously over there.

Be specific; are we talking the Ocean dub of DBZ, or the Funimation dub?
