Inafune did not solely create Mega Man (in fact, he just did the character designs), nor does he have much to do with Mega Man anymore. Also, Capcom can use Mega Man without Inafune's knowledge or permission.

I was very impressived with the competitive discussion actually. It was very solid and rather clear compared to much as I've seen so far.

Alt costume confirmed for Brawl!

On a SMYN note, now that I'm done. I've read all that competitive stuff before and I smash with competitive players, but it's nice to hear it from the source.

Fantastic podcast, Panda. I listened to it all the way through, and while the sound quality suffered at times (though that can't be helped), the final product was phenomenal.

Incidentally, if you need, I'd be happy to lend a hand with putting the podcast together, as I've worked with Audacity (the editing software Youko uses) several times before. If you want, you can send me the voice clips, and I can edit something together, including music updates and deep voice clips.

He doesn't use Audacity. He just tells us to use it to record Brawl Viewpoints. In all truth, do you really think he'd use that when he has a $90 microphone? He has Pro Tools, so meh.

I finished the whole thing, and actually payed close attention throughout the entire 3 hours and 44 minutes, whereas I sometimes drift in and our a bit towards the end.

Review:

Best podcast so far. It wasn't a lack of Youko that made it so great, but you could tell Samurai Panda went through extra trouble and gave a bigger effort on this podcast than pervious episodes, in an attempt to fil in the gap that Youko left. Having so many guests, broken down into seperate parts was fantastic. As someone mentioned in the RT, having so many people at once would be chaotic and would turn into a bunch of hellish squabbling. 3 seems to be the perfect amount. The changing guests allowed for everything to run smooth and gain more viewpoints than usual while listening to logical debate and discussion.

I really liked how colbusman disagreed with Panda and Buzz on some of the topics. Not for the reason that I like to hear people diagree with Buzz and Panda, but because it was good to hear more disagreeing and hearing both sides of the debate on the same roundtable. A disagreement during a RT is just awesome. Very calm, and well educated, in comparison to the way disagreements of views are handled through text on the forums usually. Except for a few mic problems by guests, everything was smooth. Mic 128's accent ftw.

A++

ok, people have been saying they like the new metroid stage and all, and i do to. people have been like "oh it doesnt move yay". i dont remember if someone actually brought this up, but look at the first picture of the new stage update. the bottom platform is longer than in the second one. at first, the far right platform is connected to the bottom one, but in the second pic, it is away from the bottom platform. so, the stage does move. now im gonna go listen to this new podcast, so c ya.

Haven't listened to the podcast yet but I plan on listening to it while I'm at the boring family Christmas thing >_>

Also, why is Sariku talking about being on the podcast next week? When was this confirmed?

Oh, BHLMRO, while we're maintaining this droning forum conversation, I'd like to suggest something:

HQ (existing quality) and LQ versions of SMYN every week? It will open it up to the 56k users, too.

*raises hand*

I have a high tolerance for tangents, very fond of them myself actually. Plus i had a very empty few hours, and needed something to distract me until Christmas. Looking forward to the super-slow 8-hour podcast, and will honestly listen to that the full way through. Always a fan of the longer podcasts, don't be afraid to just leave your mics on 24/7 and I'm sure you'll get people listening.

I started listening to the podcast a couple weeks ago, and my main gripe is that they're starting to get kind of long. lol It's taken me forever, but I'm almost caught up.. and now I see that this new one is almost 4 hours. >.< Don't get me wrong - I'll probably end up listening to it, but do you guys think you could start putting them out in more manageable chunks? I'd say an hour - hour 1/2 would be best for this type of podcast.
