Each gaming console has its favored genre. PS3 seems to favor platforms and shooters, the Wii manages to get by by praising family fun, and of course, the XBox 360 has its shooters that it simply loves.
I think that understates the Wii's success - it is technically the most popular system.

So...

Would anyone buy a second person shooter?

That is when you control the shooter while your perspective is of an onlooker and you try to get the shooter to shoot the onlooker you are viewing the shooter from.

It would bring a whole new meaning to unsettling themes.

Too bad software sales for the Wii suck.

I am not sure a second person shooter would work. It would definitely be an unique idea, but I would just cringe whenever my onlooker keeps geeting killed by enemies. :laugh:

I don't really like first-person shooters. I would never say they suck, but they are not my thing. I tried playing Halo once; I got frightened when some invisible enemy kept attacking me and I could not see it. You would NEVER get me to play Left 4 Dead or Dead Space.
