are we sure that this is Famitsu and not the actual player's guide? because as someone pointed out, there are 147 pages. that's a lot of pages for a magazine insert.

Does that mean theres officially five female characters if you count Samus and Nana as different characters?

There is one thing I don't understand though.

Even though the DOJO clearly states that her name is Sheik, and even the original game stated she was named Sheik, people still refer her as Shiek.

Are they too lazy to actually copy-paste? I mean, it isn't that the E and the I are close to each other. People are just too consistent for it to be a typo.

Is it that big of a deal? Seriously?

Its an easy mistake to make.

And its really sad that it bothers you so much.

It's the "i before e, except after c" grammatical rule that's been drilled into our heads since elementary. People who don't have an on-hand account of how Sheik's name is spelled will follow that principle.

Well, in German she's called Shiek :p oh wait...
It's weird. The link has sheik in it http://www.smashbros.com/de/characters/sheik.html
but they wrote Shiek on the update... but Sheik again on the specials.

I guess even the people of Nintendo aren't really sure how to write her name XD

TC should change the title because it's a dirty lie, Zelda is in her Twilight Princess costume so there's no WAY Sheik will be in SSBB.

The Germans aren't really that consistent, seeing as they first translated King Dedede as König Nickerchen in the original games and as King Dedede in Brawl.
